Format change

Hi, my format has changed where before it was an old style where I could just see the last few threads but now when I click on what I'm on, it's showing me everything.

When I came on mumsnet today, it forced me to login again and then the format has changed. How can I go back to the original? I'm on an android phone.

I wish there was a "take me to my most recent post" button. I tend to reply on a thread then move onto another one and come back later. I know I can Bookmark but that's so faffy.

Has anyone worked out how to go straight to your bookmarked post? It just takes me to the first post

I’m using the desktop site on safari on a iPad. It seems like a good combo for this setup. I do get the space where there would be ads on the right hand side, but just pinch out each page as I open it, so I get the posts across the width of the iPad screen. Works for me 🤷‍♀️

This is working as normal for me, so clicking on a thread title takes me to my bookmarked post.

(I don’t have disabilities.) I must say, I find the new site fine and have really just noticed the change of font - am on an iPhone.

I'm on a laptop (Mac) and the images (photos) are TINY. What's the point of the Cat Tax if you cannot see the cats?

Photos always used to be tiny on my iPad too, before the change - I have alays had to click on them to make them big enough to see.

I hate change for change's sake. The new format is very disconcerting. I'll sure I'll get used to it but I have to wonder what the point of it is?

Can we please get rid of the double break lines between paragraphs. There's more space between the paragraphs than there is between reply divs, which looks clunky, and makes it harder to read.

Also, please can you increase the max-width on class max-w-reskin? The previous media queries worked nicely. 1000px width on a desktop is too narrow, feels like I'm trying to read a receipt, not a forum. 1200 is much easier to read.

Quite possibly security. The old site was very old and probably needed updating for security reasons.

Is it just me, or has AIBU disappeared altogether?! Surely MN haven't got rid of it? It doesn't seem to be on the Topics list, and when I did a search for threads with 'AIBU' in the title, a bunch came up, but if I try to open any of them, it says there's a problem with the server 🤔

I missed the memo about the update. For me it's a bit soon to process what I do/don't like about it. but I'm disconcerted to find the Trending threads are the same as they were two days ago (not yesterday). Coincidence?

I like it. I'm really shocked that so many dislike the new layout. The text is slightly larger so it's easier to read for me.

Just here to agree about the display on a PC - huge amounts of wasted space to the sides. It's fine on my phone.

Also about the photos, I've clicked on a couple today and haven't been able to make them out at all. (Chrome on Windows)

And yes, I want to use Ctrl+Enter to post!

I see getting cookie consent popping up every time I change pages. v annoying, but I'm guessing that's a glitch?

Big questions for me is where is 'active search' now?

I liked the fact that I could type in a user name, and the dates between which I wanted to search posts. Using the slide bar, is really clunky and can't get narrow date gaps.
