Format change

Hi, my format has changed where before it was an old style where I could just see the last few threads but now when I click on what I'm on, it's showing me everything.

When I came on mumsnet today, it forced me to login again and then the format has changed. How can I go back to the original? I'm on an android phone.

AIBU is broken as is FWR. Titles display but error 500 when you click on a thread title. Hmmmm.

its asking me to confirm my cookies even when i refresh the page, all my threads are upside-down and trending has not refreshed all day. And where has the flip button gone :(

Can we have

• name of last poster on a thread


• date of last post

visible on all topics pleas (like it used to be)
These make it easier to spot spam posts among other things, for example in the Yoga topic the same person spammed all the threads.

• option to jump to last page back again.n I know you list all the pages but it’s fiddly.

On PC. If I click on an uploaded photo, the displayed photo it goes to is smaller than the photo on the thread that I just clicked on

I also hate that the date appears even for posts done today. I liked the "today/yesterday" with dates only for older comments.

Made it easier to scroll to where you want to be or spot older threads.

The flip thread button is now hidden in a drop down menu....
Go to the left hand side top of the page where it says TALK (plus what board you are on) and on the right hand side of the page is a pale button, very easy to miss....
Click on that to reveal a drop down menu with several options including FLIP.

Hope that helps as I'm on a desk top!

Yes I miss First Last and username

Getting error 400 bad request cookie too large on laptop every time I click anything. Works on phone but I hate that. Not impressed.

It’s constantly asking me to accept cookies even once I’ve done this. Am also getting an intermittent ‘access denied’ message. V annoying.

No Last Day, only Last Hour.
No links to Active, AIBU, Chat etc at the bottom of the thread.
Huge spaces between paragraphs.

These are not improvements.

The actual bit of Mumsnet that I use, the bit with the posts on, now takes up about a third of my screen width. I understand that Mumsnet want to promote itself as mobile friendly but it's now fucking stupid on a PC.

Today, I had to log in 3 times. Every time I leave MN left logged in and went to do something, it's logged out when I came back. This never happened before. Very annoying.

I have just noticed there is now a "Keep me logged in" box on the login screen. Try ticking that.

Threads with only the OP apparently have 0 posts in them (looking on Active)

Longer threads, N posts long, are shown as N-1 long

Why the change? It's awful!!

I am looking at this on a massive Fuck You 27" screen iMac, and the thread text is in a pissy little thin strip down the middle with acres of empty real estate to either side. Real estate designed for ads no doubt, but my browser won't allow them, so ner.

And it is so bright that it will probably fuck my melatonin and upset my sleep. It HURTS MY EYES.

Frankly it looks as if it was designed by bad-breath Keith from the IT department who has worn the same unwashed patterned orange sleeveless jumper for the last five years.

And why does it wrap my text around the post I'm quoting??
