Does MNHQ Check Our Inboxes?

Just wondering. I received a private message and sent 2 replies and now the recipient has received a message from MNHQ saying the replies were removed at my request. Except that's not true, I made no such request.

Some users want to be banned from here (as they've written there) so they can run off to the other site, hands up in the air, waiting to be welcomed home after a day's work of getting banned from Mumsnet. More fodder for their forum. It's now a shield of honour to be banned here. Why not just gracefully walkaway if you want to, yolopenguins? Is it necessary to go to all this trouble? If I were the mods on here, I'll let you stay. No receiving badge of honour for you but feel free to fib about getting banned if it's that important! It's clear how desperate that site's mods and members are.

I'm annoyed at being dragged into a poster's game-playing. I'm having a rough time during Covid as my beloved step-mother died of it yesterday. I came on here for some distraction and I get treated by shit by someone getting their jollies from creating fora wars.

I've just checked and not only is my name still on the site but @yoloPenguinsEatfish liked a post on there twenty minutes after saying on here she was off to bed and will try and edit in the morning. So yeah, posters you were right, it was a fuck you response. She was deliberately being an arsehole.

I've got it sorted. I asked the admin & mods of the other site to delete the references to my name and they did that which I appreciate.

It wasn't a huge deal but when you're dealing with life-changing things, deliberate unkindness stings even if it's about small stuff.

It's fairly ironic that they are all spending their time going on about how lovely they all are but actually I've seen a lot of nastiness directed towards other sites (not just this one.) I've seen screen shots of peoples posts and user names from other sites and despite claiming how lovely they all are a load of them are jumping in to bitch about what others have said elsewhere. A lot of these posts seem to disappear after a while so I'm guessing admin deletes them? But I think they're kidding themselves if they think they are this superior and super kind bunch of people.

I skip between loads of different parenting sites as I'm on mat leave at the moment and I'm not particularly loyal to any. I looked there when I saw it 'advertised' on here but I haven't been encouraged to join because of the nasty undertone, their pride in getting banned from here and to be honest the threads there are pretty boring.

The only screenshots I have seen are from Reddit and anyone who justifies what they do over there needs to have a good long sit in the thinking corner.
Mods are deleting anything about Reddit and leaving horrible posts up about mumsnet which is interesting.

Too many Admin-approved sock puppets creating fake accounts both to make it look like there's more new members coming in and to have backup minions. Creating threads in random forums to look busy, liking their own posts through their numerous sock puppets and replying to themselves on their own threads as different accounts. All a bit naff but they've all been friends from Tattle, so no surprises there.

And what’s with all the Harry Potter stuff I thought it was all a bit ominous and creepy.
Is that admin? I noticed one admin sock account edited her own post and had forgotten to switch

Admin was/is also part of reddit forum. Advertised her site there but no one gave a crap. She's allowed reddit bashing to stand cos she didnt get the following she wanted from there except a few trolls who've promised to be her spies. There was a lot of slagging off reddit posts among the MN threads but it's somehow magically stopped. Just a few mentions here and there now. Who knows what went on behind the scenes?

All? Nope, never been on Tattle in my life, I've only ever seen it mentioned on MN. Most of the new members there are just like me, trying out a new forum while also remaining on MN.

Meant Admin and those creating the fake accounts. Not all members.
