Chattings nice I like it. Can it possible for us to have a place to chat banalities without being shouted at by the Me Me Fucking Me brigade, where serious rules all and all frippery and nonsense must be curtailed in favour of BIG SERIOUS TALK ABOUT BIG SERIOUS ISSUES, THAT AFFECT ME.

I promise if you do, I'll stay there Thanks

. How's Norman?

MetallicBeige · 17/11/2015 22:56

I love Home Bargains, we have three within an approx. two mile radius.

For a laugh I bought my sister a Lady Gaga singing toothbrush - 99p. It must have been solar/magic powered, it just didn't shut up, ever, the batteries honestly never seemed to run out. Had to remove them in the end.
You can get some great stuff in there, Sesame Street toys are always dirt cheap.

Sparklingbrook · 17/11/2015 22:56

'Agenda free' would be a good title.

HoneyDragon · 17/11/2015 22:57

My Dad used to be like that Rusty he'd be vaguely bemused by general cleaning and decorating activity and hidden stashes of nice food he wasn't allowed to touch. Then utterly convinced the tree was going up early then realising he had four days to panic buy and suddenly demanding input to Xmas dinner.

Retirement and grandchildren and a major heart attack resulting in a quadruple bypass, have caused more interest and involvement in the matter of Xmas Grin

Am I right in thinking that a £1 vajazzle involves an element of DIY Sparkling?

SoMuchToBits · 17/11/2015 22:57

Norm's fine thanks, Rusty! In a trivial kind of way... Still smiling though!

MetallicBeige · 17/11/2015 22:57

What is JTF warehouse? Is it a bargainous southern thing?

Sparklingbrook · 17/11/2015 22:58

Oh yes vind. There were instructions IIRC. Grin

AyeAmarok · 17/11/2015 22:58

I love the idea of a thread called Trivial Shit! Grin

HoneyDragon · 17/11/2015 22:58

Agenda free is good. No nasty surprises.

Your Dad sounds lovely Honeydragon and very like my dear grandad, right down to the heart bypass. Xmas Grin

HemanOrSheRa · 17/11/2015 22:59

I have TWO Home Bargains near me Sparkling. One is quite small but the other and nearest is a massive two storey superstore. It's lovely Smile. And there is a Homesense AND an M&S foodhall AND The Range in the same retail park.

Catzpyjamas · 17/11/2015 23:00

Poundland vajazzle? PVA glue and plastic diamonte?

kelper · 17/11/2015 23:00

We have a b&m but I've heard so much awesomeness about home bargains.....
And my sister would love a lady gaga toothbrush!
Ds is in love with poundland....

HoneyDragon · 17/11/2015 23:00

You know this trend for glittery hair roots? Do you think that could be the new vajazzle? It would be a lot less itchy and time consuming and you'd have lovely festive pubes.

where the fuck is Brenda she could approach this from a S&B viewpoint.

vindscreenviper · 17/11/2015 23:01

Also vajazzle and Sparkling sit very well together in a sentence.

I think the topic should be called (Lighthearted)

Catzpyjamas · 17/11/2015 23:02

FFS, I just added vajazzle to my tablet's dictionary. Hope it doesn't autocorrect anything to that if I email my dad.

RustyBear · 17/11/2015 23:02

Think you need the baaaaarrrrr, Honeydragon (and no, I've no idea why it's always written like that)
It's how I got sucked in to MN in the first place, we had lots of banalities and stuff. It was fun.

Sparklingbrook · 17/11/2015 23:02

www.jtf.com/ Here you go Metallic. Behold. Grin

You are spoiled Heman. We have 2 Poundlands and a 99p store which is a bit unnecessary.

RJnomore1 · 17/11/2015 23:02

I think they are building a home bargains near me!

I nearly got run off the Christmas bargains thread for chatting about it.

HoneyDragon · 17/11/2015 23:04

aaaaah, yes (Lighthearted) aka The Bitchplop Klaxon

Catzpyjamas · 17/11/2015 23:04

We used to have a poundland you could park outside. I never spent less than £20. Now I have to drag shopping through a shopping mall, I don't get so much tat stuff

LegoRuinedMyFinances · 17/11/2015 23:05

You could even prune the pubes to resemble a Christmas tree - I wouldn't recommend hanging baubles off it though - that'd ruin your knickers.

£1 vajazzle - now I've heard of everything

RustyBear · 17/11/2015 23:05

Trying to imagine what you'd be trying to write that even the most random autocorrect would turn into vajazzle...
