Ah, Magpie - I've checked with Tech and apparently testers aren't able to use the new app currently - but this is due to some releases they did yesterday, rather than anything old-app/hacker related. Sorry about that! You can have it back soon - promise

I'm still using it, maybe I shouldn't be admitting to that and they'll now cut me off

Oh, I took the pic to mean something like Anonymous had broken his mask - as in maybe they weren't supporting him and had let him down?
I may have read too much into that though - was hoping they had realised what a pillock he is and left him out to dry.

It doesn't. His profile location is "London", but you can write whatever location you like.

That account was hacked. It belonged to a dad in London.
Because hacking dada accounts si what dad security are all about...oh hang on that dosn't make sense either.
Are hackers narcissists are a rule? We've not explored borderline offensive armchair diagnosis yet have we?

Why can't I log in through phone app?
I've just got a new password, which is how I can post here, through desktop site, but when I try the app (android/Samsung) it just keeps saying "unable to connect to Mumsnet" or similar.
It's annoying.
What do I do?

Just read back - I'm not testing a new app. It's just my normal app. Not working.
