Simon has unmasked 'himself' as a crying teenage boy?

I think I'm missing the point. Does he want mothering? Confused

Simurgh · 27/08/2015 11:13

I doubt it. The child in that dreadful picture is scared.

Lweji · 27/08/2015 11:24

Yes, Simon/Jeff is a scared little boy. Self assured men don't feel the need to bring sites down. Particularly sites as positive as MN.

noblegiraffe · 27/08/2015 11:28

I was reading about the Ashley Madison hacks and how careful they were to hide themselves. Only releasing data on the dark web, stripping out stuff that might identify how they accessed the data, getting together for the hack, then disbanding. They think if they didn't make any errors, they could never be found.

Then you've got our guys. Pastebin, Twitter, phone numbers, chatting on public message boards. Hmm

I love that Ross Ulbricht who founded the Silk Road website was caught because he'd posted on a tech website giving his email address as [email protected]. What a loser.

VelmaD · 27/08/2015 11:34

Sorry Rebecca it was what Jason said. Most of my PMs with addresses have been to mumsnet, so hoping they've been deleted. Understand I have no control over someone else's innox- I just couldn't delete my sent items. I will try and get on a pc instead of a phone to do it. The select all and delete works in the inbox, but not in sent items.

DontTellThePrincessBride · 27/08/2015 11:37

Oh stop being so cryptic! Say what you mean.

In anime and manga, a nosebleed is used to show that a character is turned on. It's the equivalent of an erection. He's basically saying that all of this is how he gets his jollies.

Lweji · 27/08/2015 11:40

So, not a brain tumour as in the films?

Why would anyone have a nosebleed when turned on? The mind boggles.

Jasonandyawegunorts · 27/08/2015 11:40

In anime and manga, a nosebleed is used to show that a character is turned on. It's the equivalent of an erection.

Hmm

Is that true?

It hought everything was done with tentacles, symbolic or not....

howtorebuild · 27/08/2015 11:42

In the urban dictionary it's a sex act.

DontTellThePrincessBride · 27/08/2015 11:43

That's what DH told me, he's into anime and manga.

DontTellThePrincessBride · 27/08/2015 11:43

Going to urban dictionary it now

DontTellThePrincessBride · 27/08/2015 11:45

I'd have thought anime/manga reference more likely seeing as it's known he likes anime.

The things we are missing. Grin

Could Simon/Jeff be into Manga? Was it just a coincidence?
Any way we could unleash CSI Cyber on them? Will this attack make it into the series? Gripping stuff.

Lweji · 27/08/2015 11:49

So, they are into manga/anime.
Should we attend the next gathering and look for suspects?

WhoTheFuckIsSimon · 27/08/2015 11:50

Whats Simons Twitter link/handle?

DontTellThePrincessBride · 27/08/2015 12:04

He's used manga/anime terms in tweets such as tsundere and one of his minions has chatted to him about anime/manga.

It doesn't help catch him but does give a hint about the possible meaning behind his latest photo.

Devilishpyjamas · 27/08/2015 12:06

He's turned on by all this?

Each to their own I guess.

Mummylinisreborn · 27/08/2015 12:14

I have finally managed to get back on after MN by mistake de regged me. It has been so frustrating to see everyone's post but not being able to post myself. I can't believe it, over a week without posting. Now I feel like a mumsnet virgin as I have no history, no pm,s and am no longer on classic. Hope everything will soon be settled down what a nightmare for MNHQ. ( and me )

Devilishpyjamas · 27/08/2015 12:18

Well that's a turn up for the books. I googled nosebleed (loads of manga!) & up popped a shirtless Bradley James. Every cloud....

noblegiraffe · 27/08/2015 12:20

A crying teenage boy with a 'nosebleed' holding a broken anonymous mask.

Ooh, I know. Simon has just found out that not only have Ashley Madison hackers released all his personal details, but that the women that he was chatting up on there weren't real.

Simurgh · 27/08/2015 12:21

'and am no longer on classic.'

You could almost get Grassy-Knoller about this! Grin

TheTravellingLemon · 27/08/2015 12:21

Welcome back Mummylin Smile.

Mummylinisreborn · 27/08/2015 12:25

Thank you travellinglemon will pop along to your thread in a bit. I have had severe withdrawal I can tell ya ! Don't think I have been able to post since 18th of Aug !

Lweji · 27/08/2015 12:30

Ashley Madison hackers

Maybe he thinks they are mumsnetters?
Did a group of wives with IT skills set out to destroy the site their husbands were on? I wouldn't put it past some people here. :)

slug · 27/08/2015 12:34

Oh No!! Now they've gone too far!!!

I can put up with the hacks, I can put up just with mumsnet being offline for hours at a time.

But what I can't put up with is bloody Meercats taking up half my screen. I may have to deregister!
