Local. There is an option to turn the bar off after people complained about it. May be you have that ticked?

Local I had that - press the person icon at the top and at the bottom there's an option to show/hide shortcut bar.

sleepy - change the passwords immediately/check out any other accounts where you might have used the same password as here or which could be connected in some way wich might make them possible to access without difficulty.

See here local. Click on the head and shoulders shape at the top then you should find 'show shortcut bar' at the bottom.

Salem I have had that loads, long before all this carry on, it means the connection is a little slow.

I lost the bar showing active, watching, add post, I'm on, search. I also lost the icons, they turned into a box.

scatter - just googled for you and it's an adware programme. Not malicious in itself but can host malware or viruses.

You need to do a full virus scan and use something like Malwarebytes Anti Malware (free).
