Thanks, Zing, but I am on the PC! This is as high-tech as I get.

Simurgh · 21/08/2015 22:13

Restless kids are playing around now I think twirlypoo - anything they can get into with the info on the net they'll give it a try - the rabbit forum will probably be bigged up to GCHQ by the time Monday comes.

SuffolkNWhat · 21/08/2015 22:14

I fancy punching a cake Honey

HoneyDragon · 21/08/2015 22:15

on his twitter list someone called Han has put a screenshot of the Mumsnet post. It was the 'I will not be a victim' thread

Daft bloke should read the I'm not Jeffrey thread. Then post he is Jeffrey. And his address.

Then the might of our constabulary and its assorted judiciary system can have a complicated chat with Jeffrey.

And we can go back to important complex debated. Like exactly how much does Peter Andre love his kids?

HoneyDragon · 21/08/2015 22:17

I'm not cake punching. My lovely friend baked me chocolate fudge cake today. It's gorgeous. Too good for punching.

I'm willing to Chinese burn a Sausage roll though?

suzannefollowmyvan · 21/08/2015 22:18

The police will have access to the same or better
I suspect that the best brains in hacking are with the poachers, not the gamekeepers

AwfulBeryl · 21/08/2015 22:18

Is anyone else having problems logging in with ipads ?
My new password seems to work but then I get logged out again...?
I am getting a bit paranoid about it now, has my ipad been hacked, can they see me through the wee little camera ?

on a more serious not, no one love his kids more than Peter Andre - no one.

shopafrolic · 21/08/2015 22:19

I was on the list and have never NC'd

ZingDramaQueenOfSheeba · 21/08/2015 22:21

graunid (sorry I can't spell your name)

Google Mumsnet Desktop Site anyway. try it that way. might just work

or you could turn your machine off then onSmile Grin

Arkkorox · 21/08/2015 22:21

Squishy there doesn't seem to be any pattern at all to who's on the list

GreenPowerRanger · 21/08/2015 22:22

I was on the list (nc now). I just posted on a thread (chrome on iPhone 5s) and put my phone down. When I picked it back up the page had a red file picture on it and the message said 'download failed'.
I'm afraid I panicked and didn't get a Screenshot,

scatterthenuns · 21/08/2015 22:22

I just got a pop up on the MN homepage saying that I may be connecting to an unsafe site and my data might be at risk... wish I'd screen capped! I'm on a mac.

Has anyone had anything similar? I'm on the list btw.

foolmadammas · 21/08/2015 22:23

I was on the list, but I only finally registered a couple of weeks ago, and only re-logged in once over the following couple of weeks (and can't remember the circumstances as to why I had to log in again).

Simurgh · 21/08/2015 22:23

I don't think so Squishy - at least not directly.

Simurgh · 21/08/2015 22:26

I think that there may well be a good few commercial sites who have done a quick 'Good Grief - look what happened to Mumsnet' and implemented a few quick changes of their own. I expect you all might see some frissons from existing sites you're on.

howtorebuild · 21/08/2015 22:27

Someone says They are having problems with Tesco.

BlahBlahUsername · 21/08/2015 22:28

Can anything unpleasant be done with IP addresses? I heard they were listed too.

Simurgh · 21/08/2015 22:28

Indeed - but that might be unrrelated to this issue.

Kathysclown · 21/08/2015 22:30

Yes IP addresses were listed, but I have no knowledge as to someone would be able to do with that info (non techie).

LadyStark · 21/08/2015 22:32

Not sure if this is just me and possibly unrelated but when using mumsnet on my phone via safari I have been getting redirects to the App Store for various things, mostly betting sites. Only been happening a month or two and doesn't happen with any other site.

SomethingPhishy · 21/08/2015 22:34

I was on the list. I have laid low since then. I only used the password for this site but I used part of my username elsewhere so have decided to name change rather than leave. I have learnt loads about internet security, some of you mumsnetters are vair clever!

LocalEditorEssex · 21/08/2015 22:34

I think Ms. Orr is well aware of what might come her way.

I will say my way into Mumsnet is through a different way and the "active, threads I am watching, threads I am on" is gone from the bottom of my phone.
Has been for a while today.

ZingDramaQueenOfSheeba · 21/08/2015 22:35
