omfg can someone from mod contact me asap please....you might already know about it. i dont know.....

DH's card has had fraudulent transactions attempted several times in the past - normally it seems from it being cloned at a garage.

I often get my card stopped as barclays think there is fraud on my account - no, that's just me

Hope things are getting sorted and the bank stuff is unrelated. Does show that banks are very good in my experience at spotting fraudulent transactions though.

Surprise- if I didn't know any better, I'd say your post was scaremongering. Jeffrey's latest post says his website is down.

I hope that I don't underestimate it, sleepyelectricsheep. I was just trying to make the point that we're all under attack all of the time on the internet. You do your best to take appropriate technical and social precautions but there's never any such thing as 'safety'. I'm sorry if I didn't make that clear.

There have definitely been at least 2 Jeffrey's posting on these threads. One stupidly screenshotted the 8chan thread not realising it had (You) next to one of the posts thus highlighting they were not a MNetter trying to help at all.

Report your post and/or email [email protected] marking it something like FAO TECH - ACCOUNT COMPROMISED - or something similar that will ring bells. Your post should be noticed quickly but don't take any chances.

There are people posting here who have anxiety and are being reassured by the chatting (before anyone says "well if they are anxious about the internet, they need to step away from the screen" )

Can people please stop posting cryptic "oh my god, i just saw something, hq please contact me" (not aimed soley at you ghost, you arent the first to do it)? This thread is very fast moving, perhaps it wpuld be bettr to either start your own thread here in site stuff or if it is that secret that you cant say what it is - just send hq an email.

I understand why you are posting it, but just trying to explain how it could worry others. Hope you dont take this badly :) < not a pa smiley

I've reported surprise's post. Maybe be completely innocent, but I'm suspicious.

I'd try to roll with the punches if I were you, iamaboveandbeyond. It's difficult for everyone. (And those who have encountered what they perceive to be a problem may be more edgy, temporarily, than most.)

iamaboveandBeyond HQ have repeatedly said that they're snowed under with e-mails. They've also said that they'll be keeping an eye on this thread.

Therefore it would probably make more sense if people took their chat to another thread, rather than people having to start a separate thread for each problem IYSWIM?

I think surpise's post referred to the docs on Justine. Which are fucking vile. Compromising the safety of children is downright evil.

I agree, this thread is healthy, and helpful if you're anxious. I thought a couple of boards should be purged, I can see now that doing so would be unnecessary, and a knee jerk reaction.

I don't think this thread is what the hackers want Actually. You could construe it as attention for them I suppose, but in the main we are chatting, reassuring others, gently mocking their attempts to scare us (the swat team preparation of hoovering and wearing nice pjs!) and basically just making sure we are all there for each other. They are not the focus of our attention, each other are. Hmm. I hope that makes sense. It sounded more eloquent in my head

Morning everyone been worrying half the night as I stupidly went onto his website last night to check the list to see if my name was there paranoid I have been keylogged does ran all cleaners and antivirus nothing came up does anyone know anything about how to find out if you have been keylogged or do I need to get my computer looked at
