Morning all,

And welcome to the new thread!

As SarahMumsnet said at the end of the last thread, we have Tech on call for fixes this weekend, and various MNHQers will be here to talk and help wherever we can.

We'll be adding to the rolling list of bugs, glitches and dislikes (see below), so please keep the feedback coming. Do remember to list which device you're using, which operating system, and which browser, so we can identify the specific issues.

Right then, who's first?

Clicking on to 'threads I'm on' page loads fine then I am unable to access any of the threads. Very annoying!

You can access the thread by clicking on one of the post snippets underneath, rather than the thread title. However, this will a) open the entire thread, and b) ignore your bookmarks

Search seems OK here.

ItsAll the trouble with I'm Watching is it doesn't show previews of the posts. TIO looks better and is potentially more useful now it has those previews, it just doesn't load threads properly.

small styling suggestion - do we really need "" around the post previews on TIO? They make it look a bit cluttered.

Which search are you using ItsAll?

The drop-down simple search box works OK (but returns so many results it a bit pointless) - the 'advanced' search page (from the blue menu bar) where you can search by date and user name is giving me 'no results'.

Both gave me results. For the advanced search, I just searched a word, left everything else as default.

Samsung Galaxy here, all icons are blank, such as the three circles (just empty for me) in the top right and the four boxes ( blank coloured squares for me) above where you post message.

Gah cannot scroll within the text box for posting so unable to edit mistakes!!!

The blue bar that has the search links etc sticks itself over the text and moves up as you scroll then comes back further down in a random position such as 2/3 down.

Pleease bring back the ability to view all messages on one page this was a feature i used most often.

I eagerly await being able to use mumsnet again on mt Samsung Galaxy because i really can't for now.

I wasn't having slow I loading issues but I am now. If I try to open a long thread from TIO, it tries to load the whole thread on one page and never gets to the end, eventually thread becomes unresponsive and I have to close the browser. Am on fast home wifi so not a network issue.

Am on Samsung S3, Android 4.3 OS, using default browser.

While I am here:

• I really want 'show all posts' back. Not as default option in customisation but as a choice for an individual thread
• posting box is too small with text too big, really hard to scroll up in it to check what you have written, it keeps scrolling me up to the top if the page.

I'm having battery issues too. My Samsung s4 lasts all day and evening unless I use mn. A 20 minute session can drain around 1/3 of my battery. No idea why. There are apps that have a high drain but not met one this high yet. Hard closing chrome improves things but I don't always want chrome closed. Currently experimenting with closing the mn page, hard closing chrome then reopening chrome. Not done it enough to say yet though.

Ah search problem solved

I was clearly typing in a nonsense date because I was in landscape mode and there isn't space on the screen to see what you are actually typing!

It used to be so simple when I could just click 'from: y'day' 'to: today'

'Go To [page]' doesn't work - is this still an issue?

Do you mean changing the number in the wee box at the top bottom? (First/previous/number/next/last).

If so it is us able but with a wee glitch. If you click on the number you get a flashing curser on top of the number and you are unable to delete the number in the box. However, if you just type a number in anyway it works.

Also has the same issue as the text box as in once clicked in the top/bottom bars are no longer anchored to top and bottom of screen but to the top and bottom of the page (resolved by clicking somewhere outside of the text box)

Besides being awful to read still.

Enlarging screen makes the bars top and bottom enlarge too and take over whole screen so can't see what I'm trying to look at.

Highlighted posts hard to see/tell apart as not as clear/vivid as old format. Harder to see in a quick scroll through, hard to tell on OP poster post from a MNHQ post or my own posts.

Book mark fail.

Whole thing is harder to read. I already wear glasses, so this is like a cruel joke.

Can you use portrait? That is an issue with the size of the phone keyboard surely? On my phone I tend to read in landscape and post in portrait (all sites) or I can't see a thing!

todayisnottheday same here, it is also making the battery hot after 20 mins or so, I can only assume it is because I am constantly scrolling therefore using more battery touching the screen.

I'm on an android phone default browser
I do like the new layout but the buttons atvyhe bottom for threads I'm on etc keep getting covered my phones back/ forward toolbar that appears randomly
It means I can't navigate to active or threads I'm on
Also when I do get to threads I'm on I can't seem to click on any threads- its as if the phone has become unresponsive. I know itsnot my phone as it only hhappens on this site
I'm actually finding it very frustrating
