Hands up everyone who wants to try out the BRAND NEW MUMSNET MOBILE SITE

Hello comrades

As lots of you will know, we've been developing a brand new, souped up version of the Mumsnet mobile site for seven geological eras quite a long time now.

We can now exclusively reveal that the new mobile site is... TOTALLY AND UTTERLY ABOUT TO BE RELEASED, LIKE, ANY TIME NOW.

We've tested it on loads of MNers ( to those who have helped out) but inevitably there will be glitches that only reveal themselves once tens of thousands of you dive in and start using it - so please use this thread to let us know about those (with the usual info about browsers and devices).

And if you like it, please pass along and to ShamTech, BrunoTech, JessicaMumsnet and all the other techs and MHQers who have been working their digits off on this.

The new improved apps are coming, honest... but in the meantime, if the old apps are driving you bonkers, do please take the new mobile site for a test drive.

It's turned into the new site for me now. It's ok. I tend to use the app rather than the mobile site anyway.
The blue bar is hovering midway up the page on occasions like it did in the test version but other than that it seeks fine.
Give MNHQ a chance people, they're trying to help! There's a few snarky comments here.

It's cheap and basic looking. What the hell tarnation has happened to the font? The layout is vile goo. Lawks

Oh yes we also loose have the page because of that shitty little ad at the top.

I hate it. Is there no chance of a 'classic mobile site' option? Did I mention I hate it

I tell you what though on an iPhone it makes the content that you actually want in only a tiny portion of the screen, because you have the ad at the top, the blue thing at the bottom with 'active' and 'watching' etc... And beneath that my iPhones back, forward, bookmark commands etc... Leaving I would say just over half the screen for the actual content I'm trying to read.

Does that make sense?

No no no, you have to go to the bottom off the page to turn over and I keep hitting the search button with my hand .

Is there a way of going to active convos or TIO at the top of a thread? Or is it just at the bottom?

Absolutely hate it. Especially that on threads I'm on you can no longer see the poster and first line of their post.
