Deletions - These are ludicrous

Ok, that's enough now MNHQ

Stop it with the mad deleting.

Pagwatch · 29/05/2012 09:58

Hully, are people not getting you again?

OracleInACoracleocus · 29/05/2012 09:59

yep. its insane.

Hullygully · 29/05/2012 10:01

No, snot me, Pag (well, I expect it is sometimes but I don't read back so don't notice). It's every thread I read at the mo. Deletions like a rash, threads are nonsense.

Ooh what's been occurring? I've been busy enjoying the sunshine and have left you all to it.

Has there been fighting in my absence?

This reply has been deleted

Message withdrawn at poster's request.

Hullygully · 29/05/2012 10:02

Hello Katie love.

Dunno about fighting, just extraordinarily vigorous deletions all over the shop. Threads don't make sense.

Flightty · 29/05/2012 10:05

It's the olympics. Or the jubilee.

Flightty · 29/05/2012 10:06

Someone just tried to install a deleting button on my ROOF

KatieMiddleton · 29/05/2012 10:07

Oh

I suspect a newbie. Every so often deletions go mad and it is totally confirmed heavily suggested it's a newbie who's not quite got the hang of the deleting.

But v annoying. Helen should get out her big rule and do a class on "The Correct Protocol for Thread Deletions" at the towers. As it's nice weather they could all go out on the grass.

LtEveDallas · 29/05/2012 10:14

I only realised yesterday that I had been deleted on one of my 'threads I'm on'. I was astounded Shock. I'd only posted something like "The OP doesn't want to hear other views" or "I think the OP just wants a fight" or similar

(and Hully agreed with me!)

How in the hell does that come under the 'deletions' rule?

Far far worse threads/posts have stood. Including ones I've reported and explained how offended/upset I am about what the poster said.

I feel moderated....and dirty....and sad....Smile

Hullygully · 29/05/2012 10:16

Have you got a newbie wot's a bit trigger happy MNHQ?

Sit on her, or tape her fingers together or summat

LtEveDallas · 29/05/2012 12:05

Wow.

Hullygully · 29/05/2012 12:12

Oh THAT'S where we've been going wrong...

durrrr

Point is Sandy, things are deleted that never used to be.

Otherwise it wouldn't attract notice and comment.

OP posts:
OracleInACoracleocus · 29/05/2012 12:13

That's really helpful, thanks

OracleInACoracleocus · 29/05/2012 12:13

BrianCoxhasSmellySox · 29/05/2012 12:15

Someone just tried to install a deleting button on my ROOF

Sat in office, tried to stifle a laugh, ended up doing a real "SNORT".

Blush

Had to try and turn it into a faux sneeze....colleagues don't appear convinced!

HoneyDragonWearingLederhosen · 29/05/2012 12:20

S'true Sandy, eg "I am reporting this thread" was always allowed to stand. Now poof and everyone thinks something naughty was posted

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand

quoting guidelines is a cop out.You know we like explanations, even if they are crap ones.

get0rfm0iland · 29/05/2012 12:24

Ok then. Hmm

Evidently it is necessary to speak to us like we are complete idiots.

Hullygully · 29/05/2012 12:25
OP posts:
GobblersKnob · 29/05/2012 12:28

Oh that's how not to be deleted.

Why didn't we all think of that?Hmm

HoneyDragonWearingLederhosen · 29/05/2012 12:28

Have the Trolls infiltrated HQ? Will we find Helen and Olivia tied up together in Techs thread?

Is Justine now a puppet?

HoneyDragonWearingLederhosen · 29/05/2012 12:29

Will I get deleted for troll hunting for that post? Confused
