Sure we broke the law today but how serious would it be if we had been caught?

DH and I have a fairly active sex life, usually have sex around 3 times a week although lately it has been more often. When we were younger (46 and 42 now) we were more adventurous, lots of dressing up, toys and DH used to love filming me which I'm not into anymore. He's quite an exhibitionist and I suppose I am too.

Whenever we go to the cinema he loves to touch me and the last few times we've gone we've ended up masturbating each other and we've both came. I should add at this point that it's usually at least a certificate 15 film so there are no young kids around. We also tend to go to the early afternoon shows which aren't so busy do I'm not sitting next to anyone at the time.

I can't deny that I get really turned on but have worried recently about the prospect of being caught and the police being involved. We both work with vulnerable groups and have been disclosure checked for our jobs so any criminal charge of a sexual nature would be very serious. DH isn't worried but I am.

We don't openly touch one another so that it's obvious. No flashing at strangers 😀

Did you go to watch

mumofthemonsters808 · 04/11/2016 19:00

You're in the wrong type of cinema, you need to find an adult one and will be able to indulge yourself with like minded, weird, people. In the meantime, I suggest you and your husband have some sex therapy, if you can only get off in public places, somethings not right.Coincidently, there's a story in our local paper about a couple being prosecuted for having sex in the cinema, their defence was that they lived in a bail hostel and had no privacy. Yours could be that it's a middle aged, warped version of fun.

I played a gig once in a local venue and there was a couple of extremely drunk (and much older) people at the front - both lying down and him masturbating her in front of everyone. It was horrific. They weren't our usual crowd, so god knows what drugs they were on or where they thought they were...

AkimboLimbo · 05/11/2016 11:07

I understand the thrill of this kind of behaviour, but you are going about it in the wrong way.

Cinemas have CCTV - you will have been seen. People may have laughed, they may have been disgusted, they may have taken recordings and uploaded it onto the internet - there are plenty of voyeur sites with this type of footage. All it takes is one person to call the police.

There are plenty of places where you can do this without there being any realistic chance of being seen. You need a clean DBS and you need to make sure that your activities don't upset other people, so you must ensure that there is no CCTV and no-one around to see.
It's easier at night time, but daytime is possible if you find a secluded enough spot. Be more sensible and more considerate.

Troll

TutanKaDashian · 05/11/2016 12:07

And also reported.

SoupDragon · 05/11/2016 12:38

I reported it right at the start.

No reason to believe it's not genuine apparently.

toptoe · 05/11/2016 12:48

The thrill is about the risk of being seen. You're in a public place. They have cameras to check what people are doing in the dark. You know someone might have caught you, that's why you did it. To me it is the same sort of thrill someone gets exposing themselves. A 15 year old is still a child. And the person operating the CCTV doesn't want to see it either.

dontcrynow · 05/11/2016 12:59

When I was about 15 on a first date and I sat next to an wanking old man in a cinema. I was extremely shy at the time and no way would have drawn my dates attention to it so just sat there pretending it wasnt happening. he eventually 'came' and got up and left. It was my introduction to male wanking behaviour

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 05/11/2016 13:02

Dontcry- that's my experience too,so I'm very wary of cinemas now.

AlchemySchmidtsSmile · 05/11/2016 13:03

I'm taking DC to see Trolls this afternoon. Seeing as it's a musical and U certificate I am hoping there's no wanking.

AkimboLimbo · 05/11/2016 13:05

The thrill is about the risk of being seen.
Not necessarily. It might be for some people but not for all.
I definitely don't want to get caught. I also work with vulnerable people so my DBS is vital to me, but I would also find it excruciatingly awful!
The thrill is about getting away with it in places where I won't get caught. That rules out the cinema. A remote park bench at night-time or deep in the woods or a car park in the middle of nowhere with no CCTV - they can be safe and thrilling at the same time.

PortiaCastis · 05/11/2016 13:17

My Gran wears hats secured with a hat pin. She once had a wanker wanking in the next seat to her at the cinema.
The hat pin proved very useful and pricked a prick, he was caught by his yelling and staff called the police.
He was charged with indecent behaviour and was fined.

OrlandoBloomsBigBoabie · 05/11/2016 15:22

I'm not a troll, been on MN for a few years. I reported the thread myself as it appeared to have upset so many people. I haven't broken any rules (on Mn at least)

lightsandresistance · 05/11/2016 16:06

Ohh i so hope my teen is the one in when you do this. She has aspergers and will promptly tell you what she thinks of you, loudly and report you.

It doesn't make it ok for you to wank off just because the CHILD is 15. The fact you seem to think it is ok to do so infront of a child makes me think you shouldn't work with vulnerable people.

BumWad · 05/11/2016 16:11

Dirty cow Hmm

gunting · 05/11/2016 16:13

Fucking grim Confused

OrlandoBloomsBigBoabie · 05/11/2016 16:36

I don't think it's OK to do it in front of a child ffs. I can't remember the exact certificate of every film I've ever seen but I DH and we wouldn't be sitting in a packed cinema surrounded by kids watching the f#cking Muppets Show with our trousers at our ankles. When we go it's usually a quiet lunch time show, midweek and there's never more than a handful of people in the cinema.

Anyway, thanks for the opinions nonetheless.

Yuk

NoelHeadbands · 05/11/2016 16:42

Well it was you who specified 15 cert OP, so it's quite feasible that you could be frigging yourselves around children. You know, fifteen year old ones.
