11 plus done.....now it's the waiting game to see if dd's passed. Anyone else feeling a bit stressed?

I thought I'd feel great that it's all done, but I think I feel a bit worse now! DD came out of both tests feeling happy and that she'd done really well on one and pretty well on the other but you can't tell can you? I just worry that if she's not passed she will feel like a failure when she's never felt like that before. She also really loves the grammar school and will be so disappointed if she doesn't get in.

Surely TOGS and Skinners are super selective - ie they admit purely on score and nothing else.
Some like Judd have a certain number of places based purely on marks.
Others like Weald require a pass mark and to live within catchment.
Isn't all this stuff on each schools website?

ChocolateWombat

Skinners is the only SS out of your list that has no catchment criteria for admission it's purely allocated on score.

Both Judd & TGS have a separate in area and out of area allocation, with cut off scores varying accordingly ( greater number of places for in area = lower cut off score ).

Weald is catchment only with pass score not taken into account.

BoboEk - thanks, I've just seen taht and done it and it seems to work! Just slightly worried that it might be hackers at work?! Is that even possible?

Anyway, worked for me - I think - and both my DTs passed, yay! One by the skin of his teeth in English and Maths...

Click on the "View Kent Tests" button then remove the "?context=ee" from the url and it displays the results! Will save you a few hours of waiting!"

That is so brilliant bella. Such a relief that both the boys passed - well done. We've still got another 2 days wait here. Just don't know which way it will go. Dd is certain she's passed but I have sort of convinced myself she hasn't. Aaaaaghhhh!!!!!!!!!

Very envious of those of you who have results already, we've got another week or so to go - and I woke up last night having dreamed about getting an email saying DD had failed Shock which I could do without!

Congratulations to all those with DC who have passed.

Least we have the weekend to work on our "omg well done" for all the kids excited on Monday.. .

Disclaimer - I will be thrilled for everyone but it's going to be hard keeping my face from looking so disappointed

Have you heard yet Giles? I really hope it works out for your dd. I know what you mean though about being pleased for the ones who pass whilst hiding your own disappointment! Dreading that to 😨

We find out tomorrow they get the letters at school. She will be disappointed I think especially as there are one or two of her friends that are very likely to pass and shed love to be moving up with them. She's disappointed that she's not going to be at the same schools as them already so it really would make her so happy to join them.

But if it was that easy to pass they'd be no point in it right?

But please, I really will be pleased for all those who pass so don't feel bad fir posting good news it's fab to hear honestly!!
