Thanks wouldbegood... Yup, still needed, sadly.

Loving the Sex Republic, though. I'd be up for a minibreak there Grin

SoMuchForSummerLove · 14/06/2021 14:27

Too right!

Although I'm not sure if it sound more like a holiday destination or a dodgy cheapo lingerie shop.

WouldBeGood · 14/06/2021 14:29

😂

Definitely on the red list either way.

rookiemere · 14/06/2021 14:29

Do we think it would be an Amber or Red light destination Grin?

WouldBeGood · 14/06/2021 14:29

Godamnit. Sad

runningpink · 14/06/2021 14:47

I can see us easily reaching double digits for the amount of railing threads 😢

Tomorrowisanewday · 14/06/2021 14:51

SoMuchForSummerLove - since no-one gave you an answer, it came from Andy Considine's stag do. He and his friends made a music video, where he dressed up as a woman and sang that song. And then the Scotland team sang it in the changing room after they qualified.

He made a very attractive woman, to be honest. Apart from the beard.......

Cafewithcream · 14/06/2021 15:00

Defo more railing required. Oh bummer goal down.

SoMuchForSummerLove · 14/06/2021 15:03

Oh really @Tomorrowisanewday Grin thank you!

riverrunning · 14/06/2021 15:08

Pleased to be enlightened about the boogie ref! The last euro match I watched was 1996...

ResilienceWanker · 14/06/2021 15:10

GrinShock But, but... are we allowed to say that these days? Surely a beard is no barrier to identifying as an attractive woman or I'm scuppered?

SoMuchForSummerLove · 14/06/2021 15:15

Neither is a dick I think.

WouldBeGood · 14/06/2021 15:18

@SoMuchForSummerLove 🤣 off to jail with you!

I'm loving watching the Scotland fans singing, shouting and absolutely not wearing masks. Grin

And before the anti-football brigade start - IT'S OUTSIDE.

WouldBeGood · 14/06/2021 15:32

The Scotland crowd is great

ResilienceWanker - meh - I'm an old git, and would just play the cantankerous old woman if anyone challenged me on it Grin

titsintiers · 14/06/2021 15:35

Greetings from the sex republic

ResilienceWanker · 14/06/2021 15:41

Grin Well, true...

Yes, even me, as a fully paid up anti-football wanker agrees it does look quite fun. But

Why can't I stand in the school playground without a mask even when I'm 2m from anyone? And why can't I stand on an empty outdoors station platform without a mask?

I'm not criticising the footballistas. I'm railing against the Fucking ridiculousness of all the various rules and exceptions that make no sense, and I'm struggling to keep up with, but I could potentially get fined for not following (not the school one, that's guidance, but the platform one is actually law).

SoMuchForSummerLove · 14/06/2021 16:06

I think it's totally fair to have questions about those things. I do think it's ridiculous not to have a negative test to enter the Fanzone, for example. And don't get me fucking started on the sports day etc ban that schools have had to conform to.

It does look unfair, and NS and her 'look, these are tough decisions' answer long stopped cutting it.

latissimusdorsi · 14/06/2021 16:38

It's been one rule for football fans and another for everyone else throughout this.
Exactly how much bigger a risk are 30 nursery parents attending an outdoor graduation???
And it really is a once in a lifetime chance to see your wee one up there singing their songs and getting there folder of all their mementos from their time at nursery.
Disgraceful the way parents and children are being treated!
Rant overAngry

rookiemere · 14/06/2021 16:52

To be fair Scotland getting through to this level in the football is - apparently- also a once in a lifetime opportunity.
Still doesn't look like the general excitement can last for long, although gawd knows what sort of unnecessary contact will be going on during the Scotland v England matches. Will we be getting helpful guides about having fisticuffs in a covid acceptable manner ?
