i'm going to ko lanta and puket, both places that affected me deeply, but won't be needing water tablets as they have a great invention called bottled water nowadays

thank everyone for your messages. We haven't discussed anything else today, he lay in bed til 12, and when i asked him if he wanted to he seemed surprised that anything more needed talking over. Back to business as usual for him.

Hi Lou, glad to see you are still going to Thailand and think it's the right thing to do. The break will hopefully give you both time to really focus on what's important to you and hopefully both of you can start to work out what you want for the future.

oh lou - a lot seems to have happened in your life since sunday night

i had some very happy times in koh lanta (and phi phi) several years ago with my boyfriend - always over christmas too. don't know what happened to you out there but god, it sounds like you've had a tough time...

i think its a good thing you are going to have some time out - it sounds like you need it. as someone else said 17 years is one heck of a lot of shared history - so you must have something pretty strong there - you'll get thru this and i hope for your sake, sooner rather than later.

OMG. I've been away since last Thursday so have just caught up with all this. Blody hell. So are you okay now, how are you feeling? Do you feel that that was just a blip due to all the recent stresses and strains and that although you've got some work to do all in all things between you will be okay in the end?
