Ahhh that’s such a shame! I’m not sure what size Savage x Fenty goes up to cup wise. @Dancingintherain09

Ahhh thank you, that’s lovely! @BeKhakiReaderThere may be someone I have a purely physical interest in but it’s complicated.

OH HELL YES!!!!!! go wan girl! 🥰

I’d rather be celibate forever than go back there 🤣

Great answer op I don’t think you will need to be though you have come a long way since your first post and you will get there eventually.

I sincerely hope it’s his slightly taller, slightly better paid and slightly better looking best friend 😄

The packaging says Savage X Fenty on the front and underneath it says lingerie by Rihanna 🤣 it was pretty obvious hahaha.

I mean another woman could be wearing similar for him, but then he’d not give a shit about me buying some in that case 🤷‍♀️

That coming on the back of you being away for the weekend, his imagination must have gone into overdrive. 🥳🤣🥳🤣🥳🤣

This ha yes a friend of his who persuaded him that your controlling but deep down he wanted you for himself. Sex doesn’t have to be complicated op. You’re not looking for another man but nothing stopping you having fun.

mummy917 · 23/10/2026 21:29

Haha not his friend. But having some fun is all I want, however the person I want is someone I work with 🫣

I wouldnt go there just because it blurs lines when you dont want a relationship. It could get messy at work.

But at least it shows your eyes have been opened to the possibilities out there! I was very obviously being chatted up by a 27 year old last night (younger than my two oldest children) and while I am not interested, it was very flattering!

It could get very messy and the logical part of my brain knows it’s probably a really bad idea.

Oooh go you! Like you said, still very flattering! Nothing wrong with a little confidence boost 🥰

Yes definitely complicated op. You never know in the future no point having a rebound in work.

bigboykitty · 23/10/2026 22:21

Life is short, I say.

Tilluna · 23/10/2026 22:30

I’m another who had to google the site, and I imagine There We Are Then has been all over it too on his Freedom Friday, a time when he’s not distracted by his children and has oodles of hours to churn this over in his mind, thinking you’re preparing for a hot date. I bet his head’s like the drum of a washing machine on spin as he angrily pounds the treadmill, lifts ever heavier weights, huffs and puffs on the cross trainer. 🤣
He didn’t envisage this 7 months ago when he ‘dithered about the marriage then escaped from being controlled’, did he?

Have some fun. Lots of fun. Enjoy the attention.

I have to admit that it has made me smile today.

I think he thought he was being subtle but the way he asked at least five times if I would be back at the hobby next week was sweet. An old mate of mine (I am 53, he is pushing 70) said "Pulled there then love" and winked!

I am not going to name my hobby as it is outing.......

Of course I am! Poker, and I am the only woman that plays in our club!

I also broke up with my ex and ended up wanting someone I worked with, 26 years later we’re still together. 😘

It’s made my day.
And the Savage x Fenty is superb. Not a big plastic tacky bag with Ann Summers on it. But really beautiful pieces with a little flavour of raunch.
I wish he’d comment…. these bank shifts clearly are working out for you.
And OP could reply…. oh they are mate in more ways than you could imagine 🤩

mummy917 · 24/10/2026 09:36

Savage x Fenty is absolutely gorgeous and something I’ve wanted for so long. My bank pay is coming in very handy as I’d never have put it towards something like that when I was married!

I think it’s great that you are finally getting to spend some of your salary on something that you want , good for you .

AmandaHoldensLips · 24/10/2026 10:06

You are SO worth it!

Tilluna · 24/10/2026 10:19

Silence is working perfectly but OP’s mother’s class retort, “What do you think?” is difficult to better.
A week on Friday you could nonchalantly wear clothes he’d like but hasn’t seen before.

It’s all part of the new you @mummy917!

mummy917 · 24/10/2026 10:56

I don’t have any desire to make him jealous or anything like that. I just think it’s funny he was handed the delivery yesterday 🤣

Zebracat · 24/10/2026 11:00

The don’t date colleagues thing is insane. It’s always been where loads of people met their friends and more. Don’t worry about it. I love that you are after something physical, but we all feel we know you, and your intense loyalty to twat long after we all saw him for a knobber, suggests that actually you are a romantic and monogamous. I expect you are worrying that having 4 children would put new chap off but don’t, you are honestly so lovable that lots of people would be thrilled to be with you and your lovely family. You make soup for the night shift ffs!

mummy917 · 24/10/2026 11:56

Yeah having 4 kids does make me worry it would put most men off, but at the moment I’m not thinking of a relationship. Something physical with the man I work with is all I would like at the moment but we’ve not gotten past the texting/flirty at work bit.

I feel like I know all of you too and love being able to come on here and share the next hilarious bump in the road 🤣

I had a bit of thing once with someone I worked with. We thought we’d kept it really quiet as we didn’t tell anyone. And then one day in the pub we both got up to
leave at the same time and our colleagues started cheering.
It was never going to be a relationship but I met him at difficult time and he basically made me feel fabulous. I have never forgotten it. A lovely memory.

REP22 · 24/10/2026 12:07

You continue to shine as an inspiration through the wretched mire you've been flung into @mummy917 - absolute legend in Rhianna knickers! 😉

I only want to sound a minor note of caution though - I work in the public sector and romantic relationships have to be negotiated so, so carefully. There's a actual policy against it in some cases. I've just had to be on an investigatory panel after a standing flirtation went further and then soured. It has been awful; an entire team decimated, one person dismissed and the other party left with a permanent stain on their judgement and credibility. I'm not sure what the situation is in the healthcare sector, but please take care of yourself. xx

Dancingintherain09 · 24/10/2026 12:50

I had no desire to make my ex jealous after he left either "he needed space, the relationship didn't feel the same" no shit sherlock we've got a 5 month old baby now!

Though when I started seeing someone else he hit the roof "it shows you obviously never cared about me" "you're neglecting our child"

We'd been split for 5/6 months by this time and he was seeing someone, and the person id met was casual as I didn't want anything else at that time and only saw when ex had our son.

I did however enjoy how much it irked him...without any effort on my behalf.
