I’ve been thinking about this, and although I can see what you mean, in this case I disagree. @mummy917 hasn’t told him about the night away and as far as I can tell she will be fully contactable throughout the evening. He is just on a fishing expedition.

She has no idea where he is on his 50% and if he is contactable or not.

In an emergency they both have parental responsibility and if they can’t get hold of the other one should proceed as appropriate.

I think it is playing into his game to answer his questions.

Incidentally, I was on holiday in Norfolk recently and drove past an emporium bearing the title ‘Mattressman’. I could barely contain my laughter!

Well, I hope that's a harbinger of things to come. I mean, I doubt it but we can always hope.

I was thinking exactly the same, perhaps he's starting to accept the new normal. I also doubt it, but fingers crossed!

I do have a funny story from this morning when he dropped the kids back off. He was going to get his tattoo touched up (same old same old 🙄) so dropped them back off after he took the oldest 2 to school and a parcel I'd ordered from Savage x Fenty was being delivered and the delivery man handed it to him as he was at the door at the same time 🤣 I wasn’t quizzed anymore about the night out I had last weekend, but did ask who I’d bought that for 🤣

I do hope you told him it was none of his businesse 😂
