Online boyfriend always wants my attention and is controlling - what to do?

Online boyfriend constantly wants my attention and gets upset when I take time for myself.

I've been in an online relationship for a 8 months and I’ve noticed a pattern that’s suffocating me. He constantly wants to be on calls, watch films together or just be in contact. If I say I need some alone time or disconnect for a bit, he gets moody or starts questioning what I’m doing.

I don’t feel like I have space to be by myself and I hate having to justify my every move. He’s a nice person and I care about him, but I’m starting to feel suffocated and I’m not sure this relationship is healthy anymore.

Has anyone been through something like this?
I'm not really sure what to do or how to do it.

Is there a way to block a certain payer on PayPal?

How does he know those details anyway?

It's ok, just keep record of any creepy things like this he does. He'll run out of steam eventually. Hopefully.

Maybe change your number though.
And if there's any way he would come here, consider getting one of those camera doorbells.

How do I block or unblock another PayPal user?

We can't add or edit the existing contact in the address book, we can only delete or block the contact.
When you block someone, they'll no longer be able to send you money, message you, or find you in the PayPal directory.
If you no longer want to receive payments or messages from another PayPal user, you can block them via the PayPal website or mobile app.

Website:
Click Send & Request.
Click Contacts and select the name of the person you want to block.
Click Block this contact.
Click Block to confirm.
If you no longer want to receive payments or messages from another PayPal user, you can block them via the PayPal website or mobile app.

To block someone on the app:
Tap about:blank Send/ Request.
Tap All Contacts.
Find the person you want to block and tap the 3 dots next to their name.
Tap Block.
Tap Block again to confirm.

Well done for taking sensible steps.

Ensure your mum and anyone else whose details he has have completely blocked him. Beware he may try undermining you by secretly messaging them (I had some weird communications from a friend's creepy ex who was systematically messaging everyone she knew through Facebook).

Double check youve blocked him everywhere.

Do you still have your messages telling him not to buy a plane ticket as you were not going? Keep them. You are not liable for his choice to buy it.

Find out if you can block PayPal - and see if you can return anything he has sent you so he has no hold over you. (Just seen there's some advice further up).

As he knows your address, I'd say have your door and window locks checked and maybe upgraded and get a Ring doorbell.

Put the phone down, close the laptop and get OUTSIDE and meet PEOPLE.

It's a lovely day, enjoy it!

Yes, see above.

PayPal is accessed via someone's email address, which he obviously knows.
