Help me figure out his job.. lighthearted !

I'm chatting to a man on line.

In a sea of sleaze and creeps , he has been Interesting , witty and comes across as clever.
We'll chat again later but in the meantime I'm trying to figure out what he does for work! Lightheartedly !

He is very cagey about his work but Has said, in context, that he is well used to 'nasty people' all the time in his work, he works at weekends, his bio says professional and has a masters degree. His bio also says that he's happy to share photos but not on the actual dating app, due to his job.

His job can be very busy , very quickly or very quiet.

He's recently moved from one major city to another for this job and is waiting for an apartment to be ready. The apartment is in a very expensive area of that city , in a city where there is a huge scarcity of any rented accomodation and he is staying in a hotel for the last few months.

His job also involves night work.
Any ideas?

Yes, off the mainland is good and vague 🤣 Also, allegedly back "on the first tide" so giving spy/fisherman/assassin vibes, but in reality probably married in a regular job!

When they reappear, more than likely tomorrow, there will be a vague, yet dramatic excuse. Maybe a matter of national security but just hinted at?

With a tale hinting at injuries (hence why he can't meet) but also heroic feats, because what use is a fabricated secret life if you can't be the hero of your own story?!

I had a very similar one. Similar location too. Wouldn't give me any real detail not even his full name.

Threatened to report me to the police as I asked for his full name to do a quick google search. Delusions of grandeur for sure 😂

BUT I have a new theory for you both. He's a lorry driver and travels on the Belfast to Liverpool route, no proper Wi-Fi for hours.

Coming back on the morning tide.

Yes, you'd just say I work IT/accounts/whatever but sometimes have to do unusual hours for global clients. You'd totally play it down

Ireland is soooo small. Everybody knows everybody else and it's very easy to do a bit of homework and root them out.
