If your husband wrote this about you, how would you feel?

”After 18 years of marriage and 3 kids she’s still the sexiest woman to walk on this planet. Her hair is fucking amazing, her boobs and ass are hot as fuck, she’s amazing curves and the sexiest legs. This morning around 3:30am she went to the toilet and came back and grabbed my hand and we held hands while sleeping. She’ll always kiss me goodbye or welcome me with a kiss (and our teenagers go ewww lol), and I love pampering this woman. She loves me blow drying and brushing her hair, shaving her legs and doing her nails. I’m always so happy when she’s around, I’m so in love with her.”

I'd feel really embarrassed if my husband posted that. Parts of it are a bit inappropriate, parts are cringy.

Depends where it was written.
If the second part is accurate I’d find that relationship weird. But then it’s not my relationship.

Fourth sentence: OK

Fifth sentence: creepy as fuck

Sixth sentence: lovely

It probably balances out, but the weird bits make it a bit too weird for me.

I'd love it apart from the bit about being the sexiest woman to walk the planet since that's pushing it a bit! I would think the person who wrote that was either crazy or - more likely - over-egging the pudding.

People in the comments were all loving this.
I just couldn’t believe it.
It’s so shallow, has nothing to do with who his wife is.
Started thinking is this all there is to marriage.
If after 18 years all he appreciates is looks and some hand holding I would be so dissapointed and sad personally.

Well I'm cringing now so I imagine if that was about me I'd probably spontaniously combust. Parts of it are nice-ish. But it's a whole load of too much really.

I'm a bit cynical so i'd say that sounds like it was written for other people to read in a showy off way. Whilst it may be about his wife, it's really a me me me piece designed so that everyone who reads it feels terribly moved and impressed by his wonderful marriage and husband skills. That's how I perceive it anyway, happy to be corrected though!
