”After 18 years of marriage and 3 kids she’s still the sexiest woman to walk on this planet. Her hair is fucking amazing, her boobs and ass are hot as fuck, she’s amazing curves and the sexiest legs. This morning around 3:30am she went to the toilet and came back and grabbed my hand and we held hands while sleeping. She’ll always kiss me goodbye or welcome me with a kiss (and our teenagers go ewww lol), and I love pampering this woman. She loves me blow drying and brushing her hair, shaving her legs and doing her nails. I’m always so happy when she’s around, I’m so in love with her.”

What is your reaction to this?

To be honest I think that this would be written by the type of man that I would not be surprised to hear that he secretly films his wife when she is asleep and the watches it back while wearing his wife's underwear with clothes pegs on his nipples.

Lol. After shaving his legs and coming out his beautiful long wig.

I think I just vomited in my mouth a little bit

*combing out

UserBot9to5 · 09/02/2022 19:57

I agree with you @cupofnicetea
Nothing about the woman's character at all. It so7nds like lust not love. Very basic

lljkk · 09/02/2022 19:59

On balance I tend to like it. It's gushy & not my style, but genuine sounding & loving.

I've read far more weird, creepy or horrible things from MNers without anyone really pointing it out.

A friend told me recently that she is bothered that sees her stbxH regularly, both members of a committee. Friend thinks to lower contact with MF because Friend can't interact with MF without being reminded about stbxH's existence. If that isn't unhealthy obsessive I don't know what it is.

It’s really hard to blow dry someone else’s hair…

Wheresmywoolyjumpers · 09/02/2022 20:19

As you said, nothing about her as a person, just how she looks and what she does for him. Yuck.

Suzanne999 · 09/02/2022 20:25

@PlasticPlantsDontDie

I’d buy him a blow up doll and a girl’s world then find someone who liked me for my personality
@PlasticPlantsDontDie, best reply ever.
RoyKentsChestHair · 09/02/2022 20:32

@Hestyo

It's purely physical. Nothing about her character. Weirdo man.
That’s what struck me. He says “love” but then talks about her looks and body etc. the only nice bit is the holding hands part, but given the tone of the rest of it I fully expected him to say she grabbed his dick not his hand!
TheVolturi · 09/02/2022 20:42

Joe goes off then faster than that!

That was with reference to people saying sounds like Joe Goldberg

I blow dry my boys’ hair every time we go to the swimming baths. Not necessarily a look my wife would go for though.

As has been said, I find the cringey gushing over how AMAZING this man's comments are, just dreadful. Shock

Grimsknee · 09/02/2022 21:10

Wife? or pet?

My husband of 12 years has me on a pedestal, is very needy and a sex pest. We are separating. He has never suggested brushing my hair or shaving my legs, I would be really horrified if he did.

Exactly why I avidly read MN Relationships and only look at reddit for the local goss.
layladomino · 10/02/2022 12:28

Euw it's creepy.

I adore my DH and he adores me. We say tonnes of stuff to each other in private that might induce vomit if someone else overheard. BUT we keep it private.

If my DH said this stuff on a public forum I would be mortified. Why would you need to say such personal stuff to other people?

And as pp have said, I hope he loves his wife for better reasons than he gives. Seems to be about hair and tits and ass. Lovely.

roastingmichael · 11/02/2022 09:17

The two men I I know (friend's exes) who like hair washing and brushing and all that are creepy, controlling weirdos.
I'm not saying this is always the case but it's a red flag for me. I'm a woman I'm not a child or a doll for you to care for or play dress up.
It's grim.
