@Cocopogo (hello!) hmm i don't quite like the sound of him... he sounds a bit like he has some low-self esteem issues, and that he needs you to reassure him? I'm all for second chances but this would perhaps be an amber-flag to consider and having had this thread to help i've realised amber-flags can turn red really quickly.

How's things @Dancerinthemoonlight been a while! Did you have a few date '0's coming up or you still in the midst of a load of flaky-knobs?? I'm dialled into a call for another hour, the days are feeling so long but i'm not feeling very productive. How's the job search going, and good/interesting developments!

I'm coming to the weird conclusion that the apps may just not be for me so perhaps a break is needed. Both the weddings I have attended this year were via online dates so there is promise out there but I'm just not feeling enthused at all. If I had even one chat going, this would perk me up but I just keep left swiping on most so I totally blame myself! Perhaps another profile review is due. I'm mid 40s, looking around the 40 to 50 mark. Male and female opinions welcome and I'll PM you![/quote]

Part of my role is now Teams administrator, so have to deal with all the deleted groups and other stuff that doesn’t work for end users, doesn’t stop me fucking it up.

Just checking in... too many people to send personals to bit in glad everyone seems to be doing okay. I'm out in London tonight with a friend. And will be going to see my long distance guy this weekend.. yay!

@JustAnother0ldMan oh nooo! was it a personal/private message? or just not one for that group! ...the 'whatsapp' delete function is a highly useful tool i've come to realise. Mainly as i'm rubbish at paying attention and often reply to whoever is at the top of my list rather than checking who that is. Sometimes my 'family group chat' goes nuts becuase two kids are in it who send ridicuouls memes back and forth. I've had to swiftly delete a few inappropriate texts that have landed in that gruop chat and would have caused me a lot of embarassment and plenty of awkward coversations. Is there a delete function in Teams? We hardly use that platform so no clue if one exists...
@Eesha thanks for the message about Magnet-Man! Taking it slow is new for me somedays i'm more content than others. Still would be nice after a long/hard day to offload to someone doing it by phone isn't as good as in person. I'm sorry you're finding it rough on the apps. Some people really do just seem to have all the luck. I know two of my friends (well one i cannot stand so will call her an enemy actually) came out of relationships, pretty long-term ones as well. Only to be with new partners a few months later. Both met OL. The enemy found a new place together with her partner after less than a year of being divorced after a 8+year marriage the friend has moved in with her partner and just had a baby.... i honestly have no words. Other than i wouldn't have wanted either of those men one is HighlyGerman (sorry spring) and the other is so 'hippy' i'm not sure he know's shampoo and a comb/brush exist! But it's proof it can happen! Like the weddings you mentioned.

No nothing rude, just loads of screen shots explaining why someone’s stupid (didn’t say that), Jscript wasn’t working.
Hate working in IT sometimes, in Teams the ‘new ‘reply’ function is a game changer in a busy chat.

Did once send a disparaging email about customer X to a colleague who forwarded and then got forwarded again on to customer X, got a bollocking over that one

Physical attraction only goes so far, if the person is rude or as a thick as two planks or just not your type, they soon stop being attractive, just watch Naked Attraction some time to see this in action

I once sent an email with someone's redundancy costs to the individual, not the Head of HR, and the individual had no idea they were being put at risk.

Oops about the redundancy, that must have been difficult to explain away..

I’ve got a full home office setup now, big screen, external keyboard & mouse plugged into my laptop with the laptop screen open I have dual screens, but video calls are tricky as I’m not looking at the laptop camera

So I’m giving Mr BMW number 4 a miss. He’s been different since our second date I can only assume it’s because I haven’t put out.

I’ve been chatting to a couple of other guys. One called last night, seemed really normal but after I put phone down he said what’s your favourite colour I told him I wasn’t 12 to which he replied lol well what colour do you paint your nails then? and has now just messaged to ask to call again tonight, which is sweet but I think I’ve got the ick now.
