I'm just home after my night and day with Mr M. We went into city and did cocktails and dinner before theatre and then a quick drink after before home to here. He stayed over and the we went into town to do some shopping and grabbed lunch out. My head is hurting from cocktails (I'm a lightweight) so I need to get rid of headache as now heading out tonight with best mate for drinks and live music

@Shayelle2009 and @Isitreallyme177, how frustrating that that your friends don’t have the drinking/ partying stamina needed ! I’ve got some Irish blood pumping through my veins so I’m usually up for a drink and the craic ! I’ve been ‘volunteered’ to organise my college’ 30 years on’ reunion that got delayed from last year because of the pandemic. I’m already invested and it won’t be until Spring 2022 😂. I might sound slightly desperate here but I’ve really come to view people on this thread as ‘friends who I don’t know but value and appreciate greatly’ I would definitely be up for a get together at some point in London or somewhere convenient for people. I’m in the Midlands but I love a road trip. 💃🎉👯🕺

One good thing about being home early is that ill make it to gym tomorrow. Hopefully Al Pacino will be there in the morning so I can at least get some eye candy.

Maybe talk about a thread london xmas night out closer to time, also if anyone wants to split cost of "basic hotel room to crash in" as I don't want to commute home pissed and am just a bit too old for hostels (and would like to do the galleries the next day)

@Shayelle2009 I'm thinking of going to the gym in the morning before I go out but all depends what time I get up!

It’s quite fun to have a person of interest at the gym. Means I have to make a small effort with appearance, rather than just rolled out of bed look. But it’s nice in a way to have someone in mind to make a small effort for!

Let's do it ladies!! I known I'd suggested earlier in the year and then inconveniently fell off the hoss so never organised anything. But I'm always up for the craic too.

I've now got several more dates lined up with my iron (did I rename him Mr Growl? I've forgotten now.) It's been necessary to pre-plan quite a way ahead because of logistics/babysitting, but also it's really nice to have a few things lined up together 😊 It still feels like very early days, but I'm really enjoying it.

I’m tall & slim with long legs, would look okay in a dress apart from my knobbly knees and size 10 boots, like some hideous kinda Drag Race reject.

Mine has buggered off to her igloo in the study 🤷‍♀️🙄, I put it in there the other day and I hardly see her now.

I bought mine a bed and she completely ignored it. Ended up throwing it out in the end!!

My cat wouldn't settle and hasn't done for weeks, she likes being near me when I'm working and she was getting annoying when I'm in meetings. I had two igloos in the sitting room so moved one the other day. Her sister loved the igloos her not so much but I think she is missing her sister as she has been sleeping everywhere her sister did.
