Hi everyone,

Just finished my date with Mr Bookworm - it went really well! We had some issues with Zoom not working but we we managed to work around that and use WhatsApp video, which was brilliant. (A word of warning: don't use Zoom for a video date. It'll curse you!)

The conversation just flowed from beginning to end, and we had so much in common. I'm really happy with how well it went

We're going to video chat again next Tuesday! Really looking forward to it already ❤️

My date went really well, there was some snogging 😉😊. I match with quite a few then chat. I'm not really looking for any serious and it stops me getting too invested (a bad habit that led to my ex-husband). I see this as me finding out what I really want.

What is it with all the pictures of men in the car and in the bathroom? Can't they take selfies anywhere else?

I don't ever swipe on the car or bathroom selfies. And have told my male friends not to do it. So tacky 😬

Hmmmm car and bathroom also makes me think if the selfies are being taken “away from a partner”

Made profiles on the apps tonight and swiped for a few minutes. Already seen an old iron Mr Love Bomber on bumble. Think he must just swipe on everyone as he had swiped right on me and of course it was a left from me.
Not holding out much hope from the first few minutes but I'm just going to focus on me and if it doesn't feel right or add to my life profiles and apps can always be deleted.
Really must get more photos But don't have anyone to take them

I’m already thinking of coming off the apps - it’s all the little interactions building up.

Even with good boundaries/not being an overinvestor it’s just so tedious.

If I have a good date tomorrow might be inclined to just see how that goes

I haven’t had any aggressive conversations or classic dick pics but it’s just the dullness of it all.

Definitely inclined to go semi-steady with someone if I hit it off with them - I want to plan weekends away etc not sift through matches.
