I'm very career driven. DP not so much. ATM were living in the west country with next to no job opportunities for me. I'm massively underemployed and as much as try not to think about it every now and then it comes back and I hate it. I resent my partner that I won't have the career I want because he won't move as he wants to remain close to his DC.

@Tornonafriday

Tu *@Runnerduck34* that really sums it up. And it's the feeling that he isn't sacrificing anything so to speak and I am.
To be sacrificing something you'd have to have it and give it up imo. You haven't got a job, have hope of a job. That's not being sacrificed as you could work locally or remotely again. But presumably because you've decided your worth is 75k and anything else less is below you in effect.

Now let's turn this... How would you feel if your oh decides that he wishes to relocate away from you with his child leaving you hours away from your child and not being able to have frequent contact? Would you believe that's reasonable?
I somehow doubt that you'd be keen to live hours away from your child yet you think that this is OK for your oh!
