Masturbation (shhhh). Does everyone do it?

I have to ask. I am interested. I always thought everyone did it (I do).
I have been with dh for 10 years and am still not convinced he does. It is the only topic that we have never discussed. I am sure (ok, I know) that he doesn't think I do!
Does he?
Do you?
(It was a PART of my previous relationship, but with dh it has never 'cropped up')

Do you know what really annoys me?

When people post on a thread simply say 'I don't like this thread' DON'T READ THE THREAD THEN FFS.

MAKES ME CROSS [ANGRY]

MUD · 25/01/2005 15:44

nope .. don't agree Lou .. I think I made a valid point regarding what some people .. ie me .. find 'normal' topics to discuss

I'm all for a sex discussion but trying to wrap it up in an 'is masturbation normal' conversation strikes me as a troll posting

if I wanted to avoid the thread entirely I would have ...

MUD · 25/01/2005 15:44

that's twice you've 'had a word' with me .. I'm doing well aren't I?

lou33 · 25/01/2005 15:47

well it may well be, but it's up to the netter in question if they want to post or not, and surely if it something you dont feel comfortable with it would be best avoided.

morningpaper · 25/01/2005 15:47

Mud this started as a question from a poster who wanted to know whether masturbation was normal, because she'd never been able to discuss it with her partner. It's hardly a sordid first post is it?! You can hardly expect all the posts on MN to be about cross-stitch and cleaning routines.

'My name is MUD'.... As you say, you've been around awhile...so presumably know the kind of conversation that crops up....

PSML @ "You can hardly expect all the posts on MN to be about cross-stitch and cleaning routines"

hippi · 25/01/2005 16:09

And to bring the conversation back to masturbation..........................

(sorry mud)

doggiewalker · 25/01/2005 16:11

Glad to see I refrained from joining in this thread first time round and I don't intend to divulge any secrets this time either!

happymerryberries · 25/01/2005 16:35

Re the line from my husband......Ladies it was meant in a jokey manner.

However I would be truly astonished if there is a man alive who has never masturbated, even if he only did it as an adoloecent.

Please, to put this one in perspective, said ddh is going to see his consultant tomorrow to see if his leukemia has deteriorated. Now that I worry about.

NameChangingMancMidlander · 25/01/2005 16:36

Oh hmb . Very best of luck for DH's appt.

happymerryberries · 25/01/2005 16:39

EnlightenedFlum · 27/01/2005 11:16

I mentioned earlier on this thread the long bathroom visits by dp.

Well he came in from footie last night and disappeared into bathroom. After 10 minutes or so i went up the the door and said 'Are you having a w*nk in there? I don't mind, only I was just wondering' He said no, come in.

He was playing the Bobble type game on his Blackberry!! Anyway he carried on playing. After half an hour I shouted are you coming out, because dinner is served. He said 'Can't up to level 43!!' Then he died (figuratively) - my fault apparently for putting him off. ha ha

Joolstoo · 27/01/2005 11:21
