Hello, results came back all fine, waiting on Wednesday to speak to the consultant regarding the iron infusion, I can't wait, I feel so tired all of the time! But then, I'm awake at stupid times like this with anxiety!

Just dropping in to wish you strength and luck. Be sure to tell Women's Aid about the financial abuse: they will have seen it before and will have some ideas on how to sort it. Shelter may be able to help too: you are not the first mother fleeing abuse and insecurely housed.

Remember, you are climbing out of the shit he has heaped on you. But you only have to live with it for a short time. You will get a house, you will find security, your finances will recover. He has to live with himself for the rest of his life. It's not going to get any better for him.

Make sure you get the infusions... I get iron infusions every 6 weeks... my iron depletes at a rapid rate.. it will take time.. but you will get there OP.

@avocadont we are ok thank you, I asked ds today how he would feel if the court ordered he had to see his dad at the weekends and he said "Fuck no" while I told him not to swear, I think it demonstrates how strong he feels. Waiting for Cafcass to call now,

In need of some support if anyone is here, court was scheduled to just after my due date, I've asked for it to be changed and have been chasing them for the past week, to find out today it's in a few days time. It's floored me, cafcass havent even had chance to call yet and I'm just flabbergasted!

Please don't panic, if the court ordered cafcass reports and they haven't done them yet then it will most likely be adjourned again, so more delay however that's part of the course of the court

It seems like that is most likely to happen, I am just so fed up of this, and the money it takes to travel and how hard it is with needing to use the toilet! Just not good!

Also, regarding housing, Women's Aid can help! They are amazing. As well as housing, they will also provide you with anything you need, from toothpaste to clothes, food, everything.

Happy to PM if you'd like some advice? I've been in 2 Refuges before. I have a very good idea how it all works.

Meanwhile, regarding Court, I would contact them (or ask you or social worker to) and request that because the CAFCASS reports have t been done yet, that you are excused from this hearing. You don't need to be there, just for them to immediately adjourn it again!

@havendilemma they haven't said much, just shocked to find the court had been moved to a date so soon and said I can call them after if I need to!

I haven't told ds that I am going to court yet, he will worry :(

@havendilemma thank you, I have tried to ring womensaid but not been fortunate in getting through, i have managed to get some donated maternity clothes through the childrens centres :)

We also rang the court yesterday, they have said I still need to attend, cafcass have emailed them and my solicitor has as well, it's just awful!

So your solicitor hasn't come up with any solution?

I suppose it could hinder the case if you just didn't show. Hmmm. There MUST be some thing they can do! I mean, what if you were in hospital (god forbid) There must be something in place for situations like that. It wouldn't be fair at all to be considered as a no-show when you're dealing with something medical
