He won't accept we're separated

We split nearly three months ago after I found out about an inappropriate relationship with another woman. It's not the first time and I said if it happened again we'd split. So we have.

However, he's still messaging me daily to ask me to talk about saving our marriage. I've told him repeatedly I don't want to talk about this as it's over. I feel trapped. He's just not listening to me.

Things have been difficult so we're heading for court. He's being very obstinate.

I've had the legal bill today and it's more than I've got. So I'm feeling slightly sick about it. But it'll be worth it I guess to be free of him.

Apparently it's all my fault thought that it's costing so much money!

Fuck. What an arsehole. Really feel for you over the legal bill. I ran out of money and had to represent myself which, with hindsight, wasn't the smartest move. Still... don't let the bastards grind you down!

I'm going to ask if I can pay the shortfall with a credit card as I feel representing myself will be a mistake.
But I'm so angry with him.

The anger is really hard to deal with. I must admit it took me years to let it go. Turned out my XH had also run up huge bills and debts which fell to me. He'd run up a 12k overdraft on a joint account which I knew nothing about. It didn't occur to me at the time that clearly he'd been forging my signature. When things got tough, I too turned to credit cards then paid it all off when I could. Sometimes needs must.

My anger is off the scale. After 5 weeks of waiting for his reply to my settlement offer he has replied.

My solicitor says it's not even worth replying and we'll go to court and let a judge decide.

Another update.

After. Few days of trying to hold up exchanging on the properties we finally exchanged today and I'm moving next week.
