Thank you so much oldbrook. I think I minimise my own feelings a lot and sort of tell myself 'I'm not bothered and it was nothing anyway'. But that quote about feeling hard to love kept playing on my mind and I finally realised that's what his behaviour does to me. I know that my own stuff also plays a part, longstanding insecurities but that doesn't make the hurt any less real. I've worked so hard to try and make myself immune to being upset.

went last Tues to see surgeon and he said will offer spinal surgery (fusing a number of vertebrae) 3-5 days in hosp. 1;%00 mortality, can do next (ie this Fri) so I said okay but I dont know if I can arrange childcare etc and he said: fine beginning of May is next slot.
So I got a pissy letter from referring Dept today saying I had 'rejected date offered as not ready so please come into clinic where we will reassess situation'. Surgeon was fab. clinic person is an arse so I am worried that I might now not fulfill requirements? Ooof.

I am struggling a bit tonight again - feeling so pissed off with NC that he lied to me from Day 1 that he was married . I would never have engaged with him if I had known . I feel as if I want to punish him by blowing his smug f*cking little life apart and it would be so easy to do .

@Bloody he hasn't played fair but you know what even if you did blow his smug life to pieces it would not make you feel better. His marriage is a sham.... That woman is living with a lying messed up man and you thankfully have got out of it... As painful as it seems now. You are fabulous... And you need to remember that... Honestly look how far you have come.... Have you treated yourself yet... New shoes. Massage, bubbly in the bath because you should!!!

Channel that anger tomorrow at the gym and start planning on how you are going to live the rest of your life as fabulously as you can!!
