Dh emotionally abuses me.
He shouted at me & shoved me in front of our four year old ds for the last time on Sunday morning.
I don't want my 7 year old dd growing up seeing her parents not getting along
I don't want them to think Daddy's getting cross with Mammy is normal or ok

I can't do the rest of my life living like this.

Grrr had a lovely afternoon out with dd, we spent time with an elderly family menber, did some shopping, lost track of time, did grocery shop, spent 15 mins in playground, got McDonald's & arrived home at 9.50pm on a school night Blush

Unlocked front door to get the fright of my life, h standing inside it, 'where is dd, do you realise what time it is, get her out of the f*cking car now' grabs her & her pjs and rushes her up the stairs to bed.

It was an hour later than she would usually go to bed Shock

People need to just take time out and get away from the environment their in. Go away for a few days and get a clear head, think about what ypu qant to do and where you want to take this relationship. Marriage is hard work dont give up however dont take the bs neither.

Mk I know what I want to do separate from him, meeting solicitor tomorrow

123MothergotafleA · 03/09/2018 07:46

Thinking of you Mammy, good luck tomorrow. He is one scary man.

mammynowanauntyIRL · 03/09/2018 13:20

Thanks

Honeypickle · 03/09/2018 18:39

Does he know you are meeting a solicitor tomorrow? Is that why he’s being so deeply unpleasant (incident with your DD’s bedtime)?

MrsMozart · 03/09/2018 18:52

How close are you to parting company lass?

mammynowanauntyIRL · 03/09/2018 18:57

No he's no idea about meeting solicitor. I'm guessing letter will arrive before weekend from there, I'm away on sat & sun.

@MrsMozart no idea it depend on sorting out housing situation I can't afford to live elsewhere and pay my share here too

MrsMozart · 03/09/2018 19:56

I'm not sure how the house sorting is done - hope it's as quick as it can be.

mammynowanauntyIRL · 03/09/2018 20:25

One of us buys other one out or we sell or some other solution I haven't thought of yet!

MrsMozart · 03/09/2018 20:28

I hope it goes the quickest and best for you lass!

Apileofballyhoo · 03/09/2018 22:28

Just read your whole thread too. He sounds terrible. Hope the solicitor's meeting goes well tomorrow.

mammynowanauntyIRL · 04/09/2018 04:09

Thanks for reading apileofapplepoo
I'm nervous now but a bit exhilarated too that finally something will change.

Last night, he text to know if dd had an activity & I replied that it wasn't on and his response was 'cool' came home & no mention of previous night at all, he kept dc out playing past normal bedtime & was in no hurry coming in Hmm where was the concern about her sleep then HmmHmm

mammynowanauntyIRL · 04/09/2018 04:09

Sorry got your username wrong Blush

CurvyInAllTheWrongPlaces · 04/09/2018 06:32

mammy, that was such a nasty thing he did to you!
Good luck for today x

mammynowanauntyIRL · 04/09/2018 07:10

Curvy if his concern was genuine wouldn't he have phoned me to know was everything ok? And been promoting about her getting an early night last night to make up for it?

My hair is crazy this morning so I must've tossed and turned a lot last night, glad this day has come though

mammynowanauntyIRL · 04/09/2018 07:13

Was thinking back on another thread where it says remember who you are, this was a warning we got going out the door as teenager! I need to remember who I was and who me is once again

2020 is going to be great!
For next 12 months or so it'll be tough for me and then the dc but 2020 will be great 👍 Grin

bluetrampolines · 04/09/2018 07:16

It will be so good not to live like that. I promise.

mammynowanauntyIRL · 04/09/2018 09:39

I can't wait for my new life to start Grin

Apileofballyhoo · 04/09/2018 11:42

Don't worry I knew what user name you meant. It will be so fantastic when you are free of him.

mammynowanauntyIRL · 04/09/2018 13:03
Smile We'll always have interaction due to dc but not being in same household will be amazing!
Imfedup · 04/09/2018 13:20

Hi Mammy good luck today seeing the solicitor. He’s being dramatic and trying to affect you. You seem strong. He’s a manipulating abusive bully. You will be well rid. Call the police if he assaults you again - if someone hit us in the street would we let it go?
I wouldn’t but I allowed my ex to assault me numerous times - but I did eventually get the strength to call the police.

mammynowanauntyIRL · 04/09/2018 14:57

Imfedup I guess I wouldn't put myself in the situation where a stranger would push/shove me or shout at me & I definitely wouldn't accept it in the work environment and I wouldn't stay friends with a friend who treated me like this yet I've done it for 12.5 years with him.

In solicitors waiting room now, eek 😬

Honeypickle · 04/09/2018 15:46

Good luck x

mammynowanauntyIRL · 04/09/2018 16:31

Thanks everyone
Letter being sent to ask him to come to a reasonable resolution, if he doesn't reply within two weeks then a more aggressive letter will be sent.
Smile
