There is a guy I walk past on my way to work in the mornings. Over the last 10 months I'm sure there has been eye contact and a flash of something between us. One of my friends said when we walked past he's looked at me a number of times. This week I plucked the courage to go up and buy something of his but he didn't make any conversation
How do I make him notice me? I always make the effort with my clothes, make up and hair. He's gorgeous and maybe seems a bit shy. Help

Thats really cute!! I'm not really looking anything heavy as came out of a very miserable and heavy going r'ship just over a year ago. This journey is literally taking FOREVER! The upside of this is that I can say his coffee (which is bloody amazing by the way!) is sooo needed as its taken me nearly 4 hours to get to work!

When he asks how you like you coffee, say “like my men, hot and strong”.

Or maybe just stick with “nice weekend?”

If the OP has only just started buying coffee (rather than walking past apparently befuddled as to how she could possibly speak to a man who is standing there waiting for people to speak to him) then he hasn't had many opportunities.

I wouldn't expect him to make the first move though. He's at work. She will need to show some initiative.

Not befuddled. Shy. And not forward when it comes to approaching men. And actually not in need of coffee, as have always had one on my journey! Not everything always happens instantaneously, its taken me a while to get to this point.

I will get to the hut in about 20mins. Im nervous already!

I feel your pain; it's really difficult when you like someone but are just naturally very shy.

All I can do is try a few more times, see if anything cool comes out of it. Not ready to give up yet and forget it. Maybe I'm being ridiculous but hey it's a bit of fun and brightens up my day! Did see him on way home but he didnt see me and I dont want caffeine at 5pm..
