How do I make him notice me?

There is a guy I walk past on my way to work in the mornings. Over the last 10 months I'm sure there has been eye contact and a flash of something between us. One of my friends said when we walked past he's looked at me a number of times. This week I plucked the courage to go up and buy something of his but he didn't make any conversation
How do I make him notice me? I always make the effort with my clothes, make up and hair. He's gorgeous and maybe seems a bit shy. Help

Continue to buy coffee. And try to find out more information about him - he might not be single, he might be shy etc.

I'm sure he knows you're interested. Men can sense these things.

Not to offend but I agree with this, if the guy in question was interested in you he would have spoken to you by now, how do you even know he is single? he could have a family... good luck anyway OP

OP - good luck! I'd say don't start planning the wedding just yet (!) but there's nothing wrong with excitement about someone you fancy.

2014 - yes I considered people's jobs when dating as part of the whole package of deciding whether we were compatible. But in this case the OP has already told us that she does want to date a coffee seller so what's the point to your question? You don't want to. Fine, no one's going to make you.

I dont know hes single, which is why ill try and chat to him to find out about him. He could be married or gay or a lama... If he was married then I'd think he was a bit of a shit giving all the eye contact over the months. If i was married i wouldnt do that. Everyone's different of course..

He doesnt have a wedding ring. I made sure to check that!!

Eye contact for very slightly longer than norm, smile, look away, eye contact again.
Touch his arm or hand when paying- use cash to extend conversation.
Play with your hair whilst waiting for the coffee.
He'll pick up the signals if his interested. If not no embarrassment as you've only just bought a coffee.
