Shagged my boss

...Actually, my bosses boss Shock. Last night we went for a "quick pint" which turned into an extremely drunken session and we ended up in bed. I'm so ashamed. I've fancied him for a while and he's a really nice guy but never thought for one minute anything would happen. Certainly not hopping into bed with him without a few dates first!! What do I do before I next see him, call him and just check everything's cool and that things won't be awkward?? Or just act like it never happened??

Ha! If I can manage that with my fanjo, I'll be on BGT next year Wink

Nothing much to update, still been working at separate locations but flirty messages still ongoing and little innuendoes on phone conversations... I'm playing it cool as I still don't know if I want anything more but the memory of that night/morning will always make me smile Grin xx

Minkyfluffster · 13/07/2017 08:34

I also slept with my boss, it was very awkward after, I couldn't look his way without blushing, what broke the ice was another night out but in a group and he sought me out to talk to.

I am not with him now but he was very serious about me for a time, yours might be too.

TheVanguardSix · 13/07/2017 09:06

I married my boss. I've got my pom poms out for you!

For us, there was little to no awkwardness afterward at all. Flirty messages and a professional distance followed our initial shag. But we quickly became a couple in love. Our shag just confirmed mutual, huge, huge feelings for one another. Some of our colleagues were utterly awful about it. Others were awesome about it. Three women quit within days of us 'coming out' as a couple. I stopped working there about a year later and my husband is still the boss (it's his company). But 8 years on, 3 kids, and a dog later, we gently hold hands, fall asleep on the sofa, dribbling from our snoring mouths (we're knackered!)...Oh but the memory of carpet burns during lunch break and alley way canoodling of days past still makes our hearts go a flutter when we talk about it! We've 'evolved' into a very stable, boring, secure couple with the typical ups and downs of life. Grin

My brother's got terminal cancer. DH and I had a stillborn daughter 5 years ago and lots of miscarriages in between. Last year, he lost his father which was huge. And I struggled with a virus/Lupus flare for 8 months. My point is, that shag could become the bridge over troubled waters throughout the rest of your life and vice versa. I sure hope so. Finding a soulmate is a great thing.

Here's rooting for you, OP!

TheVanguardSix · 13/07/2017 09:11

Just read my post back... I ought to mention all of the BEAUTIFUL stuff as well but that list is long, thank heavens. But yeah, this could be your soulmate moment. Regardless, best of luck! Enjoy! Oooh there's nothing like a summer of love full of electrifying shagging.

Doesitgoto11 · 13/07/2017 18:22

@Lissywine let's just say my last ex was a colleague on a slightly lower level than me, current partner used to work with me but a good couple of rungs up the ladder...... at least I had relationships with them tho, there's been a few other 'drunken interludes' with others from previous jobs on work dos BlushBlush

Doesitgoto11 · 17/07/2017 20:30

Omg I can't possibly be the only one waiting for an update on bossgate surely (with apologies to anyone thinking this was a shagtastic update)...........

Questioningeverything · 17/07/2017 20:31

I was hoping for an update...

LissyWine · 20/07/2017 06:52

Hey all! To be honest there's not much of an update, sorry to disappoint! I've reeled it in whilst I decide what to do with my ex, were being professional around each other at work with little flirty looks and messages etc but other than that I'm taking it easy! Only thing is there's DEFINITE chemistry there, it's like fireworks in my nether regions each time we're near each other or even talking on the phone! Grin I'm working away next week then won't see too much of each other august due to holidays etc, probably a good thing at it'll give me a chance to gather (and calm!) my thoughts! Xx

It's quite difficult to put some genies back in the bottle once they're out. Gin

rainbowduck · 20/07/2017 22:09

Well, let see in a month!

myusernamewhichisthis · 22/07/2017 02:10

oooo god i remember that feeling. if i heard his voice id get those fireworks....just his voice made me go crazy and i had some physiological responses that id never had before! still happens now though not quite so extreme! my body said yes before my mind had time to consider it! very exciting .....very heady....quite hard to ignore and as tatiana says.....once its out there is out there!

update us op! im kinda rooting for you.....
