Our oe8naey had an insect day too (as did nursery) giant snails and millipedes Tec. Thankfully they didn't invite parents 😀

Having a quiet day didn't get up till 8 have done laundry and tidied up (holiday??) and sat around trying not to melt away. Going to get a taxi down to beach front to explore town later in day when cooler.

Ds2 and I got drunk and got tattoos yesterday😉😉😉 well that's what you do on hols isn't it?

Ds2 had "a fantastic time", and is happy to be in a form with his friend. So all good.

Brilliant Squirrel Ours are doing Thurs/Friday for transition days. Can't believe it's nearly the end of the school year.

just a five minute sit down before a bath , and then down to watch Today at Wimbledon ( haven't managed to watch anything live as yet)
Selena - it all seems to be going smoothly, but I hope you are taking care to not stress out too much - look after yourself
The Safari Sam was fine - I was a bit disappointed because only the children got a chance to stroke, touch, handle the animals. Nothing scary really in the end - stick insects, a tree frog, a lizard , a giant millipede , python, tortoise , chinchilla and a ferret! DGS enjoyed it though and handled everything but the snake.
So we have had a full on day with him.
Willow - sun, tattoos and drink -
Cake - hope you are not wiped out by the course - I don't know how you exist on so little sleep!
Chasing - I remember the worry that the children would have a friend they 'knew' when moving up schools - I wonder if we worry more than they do?
I'm glad Juan knows we are all just chatting along :)

Everyone been busy today wish I had your energy.

Went to beach for a while and a stroll spent money on kids then dinner in a restaurant right by the marina. Had huge glass of sangria 😀 wasn't expecting it like a pimms . It's just in a glass at hotel. Got a few more grey hairs with taxi going down as its basically one double bend after another 😲 had lazy pm.

Sorry to disappoint but haven't had more than one glass of booze a day am such a lightweight.

Late evening for me, early start and busy day ahead. A parcel to collect, presents to buy, paperwork and appointments to sort. And the normal school runs/child care too.

Tomorrow I'm planning to take a couple of hours out and go for a walk somewhere pretty and quiet.

Rather laid back morning so far here- lazy breakfast :) and a relatively gentle day ahead.
A load of washing to put in ( there are only two of us - I'm not sure where it all comes from...) some ironing as well, as did a load yesterday. Need to get to the shops for some basics, post off a parcel to Woolly Hugs.
A trip to the allotment - slight stress here, as I was asked if I can supply some redcurrants for decoration on a wedding cake - I have plenty to pick, but not sure if they are the lovely strands you buy , so going to ferret around and see, so they know before Friday ( I won't pick them until then , but have i got any ? ..) so while there may spend a bit of time on other stuff .
Hopefully I will have a quiet afternoon, so I can actually watch some tennis - and get some mending done - DH does have a habit of going to do something outside, and you can bet your bottom dollar he will come in with a hole in his jumper , and wonder how he did it . Usually a better jumper at that ...
Willow - foreign taxis are unbelievable ! Sounds like you are all enjoying yourselves, which is the important thing :)
Cake - now paperwork is just my worst thing. Always do it in time, but it's one of the heart sink things to do for me - so good luck

The sun is out here. Been topping up water for the hens. One of them is very broody and keeps sitting on the eggs. I feel sorry for her. I'm almost tempted to get some fertilised eggs for her to hatch.

Just sitting down for a minute before tackling the cleaning. Got everything else on my list sorted bar the appointment - DD wants her ears pierced so I walked with the double pushchair to a reputable salon and they were shut - in this heat too! At least I burned off the chocolate croissant I had in town

book that's hardly a quiet day either. I didn't have enough to do a load of anything today so leaving it for tomorrow by which point the basked will be spilling over.

Something weird happening to 5gis thread it keeps disappearing. Think it's been dumped to bottom of 'eTch list' and off my 'I am on list' very annoying.

You all sound very busy. We had lazy morning them pool. Ds1 back in apartment being a teen on phone 😀 ds2 and me in and out pool. Despite my book just taking a huge twist in the storya, lying on a Sun bed just doesn't do it for me for long. Feels such a waste of time to me. Want to be doing and seeing things 😀
