My Dh died this morning and I don't know how to go on

But I will because I have to, because I have 4 incredible dc he loved.

I'm so so sad, didn't see it coming this time. Been lots of occasions in the past when we thought we'd lose him but he fought back and pulled through. Too much for him this time. One month today we would have been married 24 years.

Being self indulgent posting but I'm trying to put on brave front for dc even though 3 of them are adult and trying to be brave for me. We all loved him so much.

So sad to hear this Juan, but at the same time, it has been lovely to hear about your DH. He sounds like a very lovely man, husband, friend and father. I'm quite jealous of what you have had and so sorry that it had to come to an end.
I have struggled with the finality of losing someone close and wish you and your children strength as you deal with your loss.

Take comfort in the conversation you had the other day, he died happy, he was so happy with his life, you and the kids he said it out loud. There are no doubts, he was happy and isn't that all anyone could ever wish for, that at the end of our days we can look back over our life and truly say it's been a happy one?

So sorry for your loss.

Even under sedation it is possible to hear things going on around you and to know that your loved ones are there, so he probably knew you were with him.
