Ok, sure you're all snoring now.
I've had a couple of gins and feel pleasantly sleepy but by no means drunk. Just relaxed. I knew my gin limit. It's definitely wine then.

I will haul my arse back on the bus next week but right now my mind is going-'wheeeeeee it's not dry Jan any more, I can drink' Wish I didn't feel like that but I do. I'm not going to analyse my feelings because I don't think there is anything complex to go over, I will get back in the bus by Wednesday at the latest.

For first Friday in long time I didn't crack the wine open at 5pm, drink the lot by 8.30 then wake up Saturday morning with fuzzy head! 2 glasses was me...hope I can keep this up..stbxh moving out today which is a huge relief, will want drink later but will TRY not to cave in! Like thought of the face mask and stuff to distract me, God knows what the wine has done to my skin over years

One beer last night and mainly as a thirst quencher. Must get some decent juice in the house and more tonic. Low carb weigh in is on Monday so I have to have a good weekend. Tricky when the weather is shite and just want to laze around drinking wine and watching rugby - like last weekend!

Hey ma the trouble with me sitting in a small space with a load of tiny monkeys, is that is exactly what my day to day life is like anyway. Would I have to cook and get snacks for them? Are they toilet trained? Will I have to entertain them? Perhaps the bus library would be quieter after all.

The monkeys are nowt to do with me.... The library is much nicer, the fire is lit and it's all cosy.
Knee is still very bruised,amazingly, and I can't kneel down but otherwise ok.

I've had a glass of wine this afternoon. Cleanings all done and it'll soon be time to ship out dh for his headwetting. Feeling very positive despite having the wine.

How's everyone else doing? Ma glad your knees doing better, mine are all grazed and scary from last weekends antics so kneeling to change nappies is a nightmare. I feel your pain

Tried Fevertree Aromatic Tonic with angustura bark. S'ok, think I prefer the original. So just fizzy water for England Wales this afternoon, instead of a bottle of wine. I would love a drink, but I know it's only because I'm tired, and knowing that makes it easier to resist.

Can't believe I'm drinking water here too while watching the game. But it's mostly because I'm low carbing and need to have 3 litres a day!

I was watching some crap on C4 - Get Fit Fast or something. They said the reason alcohol is so bad for weight gain, is that the body processes alcohol calories first - before anything we eat - because we can't store its calories. SO, drink a bottle of wine, and its energy will be used whilst everything else is laid down to fat. I think that was it - anyway, in summary, wine makes you fat. It certainly has done it for me!
