Found you! On day 3 of drinking . Took my hangover for a 5 mile run tonight and it went too well...now will probably allow for more drinks in my training. And less food as I've done ok without that too. All stupid and irrational but that probably sums me up too. I am a complete idiot

BTW - I got Nip + Fab serum on the plane in the summer, use is religiously, and I can REALLY see a difference! Smaller pores, no fine lines and, drum roll please.........NO irritation, build up, no spots, just silly smoooooooth skin! I got mine in the venom kit with cold eye roller ball for applying the under eye treatment.

One tip - don't overload your skin. Less is without doubt more and trust me, the men like you looking similar to the woman he. Loses his eyes with, married or not girls, they notice things as much as we do!!! xxx

Hope all are okay.
I've been feeling very anxious, the work, husband, ex-P legal wrangle and toxic mother situations are adding up to a bit much.
It's leeching out into being grumpy with my DC, when they're only being daft kids.
Last evening felt tearful and anxious. Told the boys had tummy ache.
So put them to bed and came down and drank a bottle of wine.
It made me feel better in that couple of hours.
Woke at 3.30 worrying about the things, being the shouty mummy and the wine!!
Sigh.
I really need to find another way to deal with my feelings.
Just for today, I will not drink.
Tis hard this.
Admiration to all you who are doing so well and for those struggling.

42 sorry to hear your feeling so anxious, it's horrible when the mind is whirring with worry and a few drinks does blur the edges.
As you say though, what follows is sleepless nights and further worrying, such a vicious circle.
I have really noticed such an improvement in my own mental health over the last month, I'm prone to mild anxiety and if not full blown depression then certainly melancholy. (we've had a very tough few years indeed)

I can only say keep trying, we'll help you through.

All this skincare and I've woken up with a massive woozle on my chin, maybe it is the toxins leaving me.

I just realised it's the 1st February so pinch/punch everyone.
This is the month I will have to start socialising again, so there will be challenges ahead.

I had a big meeting at school this week, just a review meeting not because ds has committed arson or anything appalling. I was very cool and calm and insisted on certain things being done but inside I wanted to shout-' that is my beloved baby boy you're discussing. I KNOW he can't do x, and z because he has significant Sen. Stop talking about all the things he gets wrong and say 1, just 1 nice thing about him'

Sigh. Have pulled myself together and put together a plan of action,cos I fucking have to. I'm not down about it, just very,very cross.

Ooh flowery health visitors are weird. They divide sharply into

1. quite nice and you can have a chat and
2. really badly informed about everything. Do not offer tea& chuck out as quickly as possible.

Aye I know, mines a 2 for sure. But I get stressed about their visits so the house is spotless so that's something. Ds school just phoned saying he's complaining of a sore tummy so need to call back to see if he's ok.
Problem with him is if they ask if his tummys sore he'll say yes... I tend to say if your tummys sore there's no sweets, telly and it's straight to bed and he never seems to be all that ill

Went to AA for the first time the other day. Amazing. Also odd. But I'm keeping an open mind and will go to more meetings.

Really want to stop drinking now but it seems the stronger my resolve the stronger the urge in the evening. Had LOADS last night - wine and gin - and feel crap today as a result. But I got up and did school run etc and am trying to use this as a reminder. Alcohol is a poison, right? Doh.

Must say thank you to whoever recommended This Naked Mind. Awesome book. I will reread a few times in the run up to my detox. Not date for that yet - depends on the medical team at the prep group...

That was me elf. I've actually stalled a bit halfway through it, so will take this as inspiration to pick it up again.
