That is all.
Yes, I'm divorcing him.
He will continue to stoop to whatever method he can to control, upset and anger me.
Delay, delay, delay.

I've been here for a while but NC a while ago.

Oh OP I read your thread at the beginning but didn't like to comment as I have no helpful experience.
Just caught up on your recent posts, I'm so sorry you're being fucked around like this.
I think you're behaving beautifully - not rising to his cuntery and talk about being the bigger person...
I hope things manage to sort themselves out soon. If I knew where you were in the country I'd offer to take the to the pub for the evening when he's 'in'.
What a twat.

FV, well done again for not rising to his shit.

I'm pretty sure that he's had reasonable notice to quit already. He knows that when the money goes in he goes out. I have a feeling that 'reasonable notice' can technically be construed as almost anything, anyway.

FV45 · 29/09/2016 19:56

Police woman said 1hr was reasonable time to allow him to pack his bags

Iamdobby63 · 29/09/2016 20:01

One hour from when the money hits his account?

FV45 · 29/09/2016 20:05

No, I think 1 hr from when I confirm with him £ has gone in and I want him to leave. I'll let him know he can get his stuff at some point or I'll leave it with his dad or something.

FV45 · 29/09/2016 20:05

That's going to be a nice conversation.....

FV45 · 29/09/2016 20:05

But yeah...it's not like he's not expecting it.

RandomMess · 29/09/2016 21:00

Flowers you are doing so well to cope as well as you do, I'm sure every minute feels like days Flowers

FV45 · 29/09/2016 21:27

dobby no, he doesn't eat the food I make. Happy to use the food I buy though (he does by mostly his own now but still..tea, coffee etc).

FV45 · 29/09/2016 21:32

Call to police was hard this morning. I don't think she realised how far down the road I was and suggested solicitors and went on about it being a civil matter. I then burst into tears and explained again, and then she got it and was actually very kind and supportive. I don't think it helps my cause being mostly composed and articulate when dealing with professionals. Aside from Samaritans I really don't cry in front of people very much. It's just the way I am.

On my walks I start compiling my crusade or help manual I'm going to write. I think my situation is unusual.

Iamdobby63 · 29/09/2016 22:23

Yes I think you are right, your situation is unusual. I guess some people have to continue to continue to live together until money comes through - but that isn't the case with you. It makes him one sick individual if he has stayed only to cause you as much upset as he can squeeze in.

It shouldn't matter whether you cry or not, your explanation of how impossible this is should be enough, but sadly I think you are right.

He is a cheeky bugger using your stuff, plus your electricity etc., and then getting pissed off if you so much as move an item of his.

But he will be gone very soon now and you can get those locks changed, don't forget the back door.

FV45 · 29/09/2016 22:53

A good evening with my boys. Got myself to bed before ex gets back.

Non pupil day for DS2 tomorrow. Wonder whether ex will bribe him to go on bike ride. Collecting DS1 early afternoon and then the 3 of us off to Manchester for last uni open day on Saturday.

One of my lovely friends got me NT membership so we shall stop somewhere on the way and way back and explore. What a generous gift.

Been reading back over this thread. In MAY I thought it would be weeks till he was gone, and here I am staring at Oct!

RandomMess · 29/09/2016 22:57

I think your crusade should be changing the laws that allow this sort of emotional abuse to continue Angry

KOKO and enjoy Manchester! I am not far from there and will think of you enjoying the space/peace Flowers

Iamdobby63 · 29/09/2016 23:32

That is a lovely gift from your friend, I'm so glad you have such good RL friends.

Hope you have a good day with the boys, enjoy.

Clutterbugsmum · 30/09/2016 07:16

I wouldn't trust him to confirm the money is in his account. Can you get confirmation from your solicitor that the money has been transferred to his account.

FV45 · 30/09/2016 08:34

My sol isn't involved in any of the actual £ transfer. The conveyancing company are communicating with me (or not as the case may be) and will tell me when it's been transferred. I won't ask ex to confirm - just tell him they've told me it's in and bugger off.

Took DS1 to bus, ran (brilliant), left note telling ex not to take DS2 out as we are off to Manc this morning. Get back and they've gone on bikes. Bastard. It's actually ok time wise (but he doesn't know that) and heck it's the bloody principal.

Iamdobby63 · 30/09/2016 08:47

Perhaps you should have told him to take DS2 out, then he wouldn't have! Such an arse and you are well rid.

Is he taking an interest in DS1 uni choices?

Kitsa · 30/09/2016 13:51

You should write something, one day, about coping with this kind of thing FV, I think a lot of people would find it helpful. My blood boils for you, reading this thread.

Kitsa · 30/09/2016 13:52

(oh and I don't think you've said anything outing, don't worry.)

FV45 · 30/09/2016 22:10

Am in PI. Long journey.
DS2 snuggled next to me. DS1 watching you tube.
Forgot my glasses so can't see this very well.

The ignoring....gaaaa
Memoires · 30/09/2016 22:18

No, nothing outing I think.

Have a lovely time in Manchester and getting there and getting back.

RandomMess · 30/09/2016 22:31

Enjoy Grin

FV45 · 01/10/2016 20:03

We're back. Ex back in 1hr. Thought it would be later.
