Sex on a first date? OK or not OK?

Yes, I'll follow my gut instinct if I meet this man I have been chatting to online for the last six months, but I feel that I might sleep with him, as I have been celibate for so long.

Is it outdated to feel that I shouldn't sleep with him as it isn't the tradiitional way to behave?

No idea really if we will want to sleep with each other after we meet in reality.

Just want you views on this please.

Have not read the whole thread and have NC for this, but I slept with my DH a couple of hours after meeting him and we are still together ten years later...

mediumsize - And I thought the taxi service where I live was lousy!!!!

How do you know he's not on dads net right now AF...

Telling everyone that some sexy woman is really into him & might even have sex with him on the first date, he's probably made up the 12 year dry spell in the hope she'll go easy on him!

Good luck op!!

Have fun, stay safe Wink

AnyFucker · 11/06/2014 17:17

I know he isn't on Dadsnet right now, because no fucker ever goes there Smile

neiljames77 · 11/06/2014 17:19

It's not something a bloke would brag about though is it? In fact, some of his 'little swimmers' have been there that long they've probably already got acne by now.
Plus the op has been abstemious herself for a number of years. i don't think going easy on him will be on the menu.

CaptChaos · 11/06/2014 18:11

Have fun SoleSource and get ready for a 'Thar she blows!' moment!

Sex isn't fun for women, no matter what they say?

How much is wrong with that single sentence?

Sex is fun. It's also funny, happy, lovely, squelchy and a bunch of other adjectives.

Teaching your son to disregard what a woman when it comes to sex says is dangerous and bordering on rape culture. And that would certainly make it not fun for any woman they meet.

LoisPuddingLane · 11/06/2014 18:22

neil, surely not? If there hasn't been manual assistance to evacuate the swimmers, would a man not get nocturnal emissions?

LoisPuddingLane · 11/06/2014 18:23

SEX IS FUN.

Trouble is, I'm such a stereotype because I go getting feelings for people as soon as they've reached my holy grail.

CaptChaos · 11/06/2014 18:26

Apologies for the shite syntax there. I must be more tired than I thought!

Try again!

Teaching your son to disregard what a woman says she wants when it comes to sex is dangerous and bordering on rape culture. And that would certainly make it not fun for any woman they meet.

slightly better.

Nice one Sole.Grin

Sex Is Fun!

Beautifulmonster · 11/06/2014 20:26

Oh god. I hope you are not setting yourself up for a disaster. Why hasn't any other woman wanted sex with him? How on earth do you know you will be attracted to him (no one else has been for some time.)

Funnyfoot · 11/06/2014 20:43

Hello

SoleSource · 11/06/2014 20:46

I haven't had sex since 2008 but have had offers and he has too. He is my type, big blue eyes, shag piece

Funnyfoot · 11/06/2014 20:50

Oh right well that is a while Grin

Apparently it like riding a bike (literally) they say you never forget Wink

LoisPuddingLane · 11/06/2014 20:52

I went eight years once and you don't forget. Unfortunately these days I worry that I am not in fashion, in the hair department, but I'm not getting rid of it. Keeps me warm.

AnyFucker · 11/06/2014 20:57

I had sex last night. Does that count ?

Funnyfoot · 11/06/2014 20:59

After 342 posts I think it's great if any one has had sex tbh AF Grin

Uptheanty · 11/06/2014 21:00

Living vicariously through this thread currently, which is why I demand an update Blush

LoisPuddingLane · 11/06/2014 21:02

I probably could have done last night - I was on a date and he suggested going back to mine to "watch a movie". I immediately calculated that I would be up half the night so thought it best to decline seeing as I get up at 6 for work.

Itsfab · 11/06/2014 21:13

Reminds me of the scene in Friends where Monica slept with the chef who hadn't had sex for two years. He was lying and he had. Worked though Hmm.

AnyFucker · 11/06/2014 21:15

I have been married to my sex partner for over 20 years. Not such a thrilling tale for others (but pretty thrilling for me Smile ...)

LoisPuddingLane · 11/06/2014 21:26

But did you sleep with him on the first date?? :)

AnyFucker · 11/06/2014 21:32

Serious question ?. No, I didn't. I would have, but he was a gentleman. It was a couple of weeks later and instigated by me. Nothing wrong with his sex drive, I hasten to add and he has never held my < ahem > interest against me Smile

Greenwayslide · 11/06/2014 21:34

Don't psych yourself up too much if he hasn't had sex for 12 years I wouldn't expect the first night to be all that great.

JohnFarleysRuskin · 11/06/2014 21:53

Aww, its like Brief Encounter here.
