The Rules

  1. Develop a thick skin;
  2. Do not invest emotionally too soon;
  3. It's all BS until it actually happens;
  4. Trust your gut instinct;
  5. People vanishing, lying and being generally weird to you are not your fault
  6. You are the prize - they should be trying to impress you
  7. If it's not fun, stop
  8. loo update is mandatory

How did the interview go Family? Good for you kicking Mr Rich into touch. Sounds like you and Sooper have really had things fall into place recently. Fantastic stuff

I am not domestic violence casualty . I've done training on this as a health care professional yes I know some of the situations are similar , he texted today being all charming but we'll f uked his world by saying his gf name ext and that she still on pof May seem petty but felt good.
He actually made me feel better , work broke what spirit I had .
Plus freedom program places like gold dust there are more deserving ppl

Oh I hope so western Grin

Well the interview went well, I didn't get the position but it would have been too much work for me. I got some very positive feedback from them and they said unfortunately they filled a position last week which would have been ideal for me. Less hours less stress and new learners (it's for an assessors role) and I am new to this sector. I am happy with how it went though. But still unemployed! Confused

Kitty like you say, the freedom programme will help for emotional abuse as well as physical, think you can do it online too. Counselling and/or CBT are great for self-esteem and self-confidence. Sometimes it's just good to have a bit of help and someone to work things out with.

Family will they keep your details in case something else comes up? Sounds very positive!

Nora I think you should do it too!!

I hardly know the man ! Tsk, I'm not a complete idiot (I am).

Also, what's with the blaming me for everything ?
Personally I think that means I'm allowed to throw a giant strop like ds1, the irritating little git.

And while I'm on a roll, I'd like to say that when your list of 'visitors' on okc looks like the police identity parade after a brutal murder, it's a bit depressing.

(To be fair mine doesn't at the moment, it looks like a herd of CBBC presenters - I blame Joy )

Kin you must be giving off internet pheromones. I know what you mean OWW I have had far too few stunningly fit young men contact me too

Well one but he turned out to live in Essex with his mum and only wanted to skype. Bah.

I am getting lots of earnest young men who want to chat to me about gender studies and writing and no hot six packs whatever (well none visible)

Joyless given I am stuck on sofa pls send me link so I may gawp at gorgeous Italian. I have massive Latin fetish...

Oh lord kin my visitors look like a bunch of bad holiday pics of people's dads posing on boats etc and the odd shadowy webcam pic screaming 'geek'. Not that that's a bad thing but a cool geek will make more of an effort.
