Is valentines day making anyone miserable :(

I know i know i shouldn't even be going there but this week is making me really depressed. I can't get the thought of my x and his new love having a fantastic first valentines day. He was so great on valentines day and it is making me sick thinking of them having a wonderful night and then making love. Why do these horrible thoughts come to you. I am so jealous i hate her (and him)

Sorry, I haven't read the whole thread but just got to the bit when you said your ex wears a badge that says "my dick hurts"... had to say that with only that sentence lies the one and only reason (forget all the others) that you need to prove that you are not the one missing out.... How old is he? He sounds incredibly childish and immature. I hope you find what you are looking for but in the mean time it sounds like your own company and that of your children is better than his. Easy to say because I never loved your dh but still..
Also, for what it's worth, my dh is totally unromantic and does nothing for my birthday (this I find VERY difficult) let alone Valentine's Day and we can't be the only ones so I think there will be loads of couples out there just doing nothing special on that night as well.

i wish i could find him ff my boyf really is a wanker i cant rember why i dumped him i think it was something srupid like i didnt like his car(i was only 15) but it woul be so nice to be loved again. havent you got a few girl mate you can go out with and get plastered if not ill be on here and we can get drunk together how about that ?

FF always remember - no matter how wonderful you think someone after you split you always find someone better and look back and think - WHY???? (I mean why did I ever get involved with him, why duid I ever sleep with him, why didn't I realise what an ugly self absirbed prick he was??).

And as for them making love - if his dick hurts (why oh why oh why) they won't be doing it at all - although maybe his dick hurts cause she has given him herpes or the clap or something lovely like that for his valentibes pressie -we can always hope.

I've got my dh some cling film for Valentine's Day. Well, we needed some and as he uses most of it his sarnies, I thought I would get my own back on all the naff presents he's bought me over the years.
Plus I know he's not got me anything, so I shall present him with his beautifully wrapped gift, he'll then feel instantly guilty that I've got him something and he's got me zilch. I'll do the old "Oh I am soo upset that you forgot, esp as I took ages in deciding to get you this", making him feel even worse, then he'll open his cling film!
How romantic!

The day looms and I feel worse.

Am out tomorrow night for a fancy meal with one of the guys I met @ SD but he offended me last night by basically asking if I was only with him because I'm a single mum and hadn't had any better offers lately. I'm really in two minds about whether to go now.

Shireens mum i might take you up on that, but i have a feeling my phones not going to stop ringing with offers. Men just can't get enough of me and my hatred for them. My bitterness and scowl is such a man magnet.
