Is this title too rude?!!!

I appreciate everyone warning caution. Trust me, I'm using this place to rant and rave and swear and all that,... at the moment I haven't done anything. And even if I do manage to locate him (with some first class help!) I might not necessarily do anything with that information just yet. But I would just like to know, that's all, instead of driving round looking for his car all the time,.... Just this knowledge will make me feel a bit more empowered.

All advice on here is very helpful - the calm, the practical, the hysterical, the funny, the 'been there done that', it's all amazing and I value all of it. Smile

Grin at vision of a big jar of Branston's ...

Shelby2010 · 20/08/2012 19:11

Also waiting for tales of BabylonPI's adventures chutney hunting.....

It makes sense for him to try & worm his way home now, as financially he'd have to pay more to Lou for spousal & child support than he would in just child support for the OW. And from the 'good guy' persona he looks better abandoning an evil OW who tried to trap him with a pregnancy rather than his wife who he had been TTC with.....

If he plays the 'you would never forgive me' card then I'd respond with the fact that as he hadn't repented or tried to make amends then how do either of you know what could happen? Keep stringing him along & paying the bills & mortgage for as long as you can, then kick him in the bollocks!

Good luck for the scan & counselling session tomorrow.

Hi Lou, found this thread by its fabulous title. You sound soooo together, more so with every day that passes, I am in awe.

And I agree with you re chutney though I do like mango chutney on a cheeseburger (yes, weird) and brinjal pickle on probably just about anything...

Branstons and mature cheddar beats them all, though.

LouP19 · 20/08/2012 19:22

Agree re: mango chutney.

Oh, I also like cranberry sauce too,... Fuck. Wink

Hi LouP.
You are certainly together and getting more in control by the minute! Hope BabylonPI helps with whereabouts, it will be a load off knowing he no longer has the upper hand with respect to his hideout (if nothing else)!
Good luck!

ClownBikeInAVelodrome · 20/08/2012 19:23

I have read all the threads and I echo all the posters who've said how amazingly you're handling this, Lou.

However I am coming out of lurkdom to say: PLEASE just buy a massive jar of Branston's, put it in the middle of the cupboard with a big label on it saying 'FUCK OFF WITH YOUR CHUTNEY'. Cos he can hardly say anything about it cos who owns up to going through their ex's kitchen cupboards??

madamemax · 20/08/2012 19:24

PS your Dad sounds ace! You are well loved x

dublindee · 20/08/2012 19:27

Lou - I think you're fab and hubby and I are soooo on your team. But pleeeeeeease step away from the devil-food that is Branston pickle

Happylander · 20/08/2012 19:29

He wants to come to your scan??? Jesus he has no self awareness of his actions does he. Your life is going to be so much better now he isn't in it.

tara0202 · 20/08/2012 19:35

Hope the Babylon PI team are getting on ok......

skyebluesapphire · 20/08/2012 19:36

Hi Lou. Love your sense of humour. I can bring a bucket. But I hate chutney. Yours and the actual real stuff too. Can I bring Jam?

Re a post further up - People are now commenting to me that I have got my spark back. I didnt realise it, but a little bit of me had died somewhere, with H not being a very social person, it was holding me back too. Now I am the life and soul again :-) Something good comes from something bad. Always.

Remember that and smile :-)

Will keep checking throughout the night for a Babylon PI update :-)

ScarletWomanoftheVillage · 20/08/2012 19:40

Chutney is trapped, he's out of control and he's scared Smile

Aw DIDDUMS...

When you get to the next thread Lou, PLEASE can you call it "I'm quite happy with some Branston's"

PLEASE?

Houseofplain · 20/08/2012 19:40

I do like chutney a lot. But I'm not at cuntneys level. I don't by nice cheeses. I chuck it on everything and they don't last long enough to "collect".

LouP19 · 20/08/2012 19:40

Oh Skye I LOVE jam. And marmalade. Now you're speaking! White bread, with butter, and jam. That's me. Don't eat it very often, but on a Saturday tea time nothing beats it.

My Dh has just said 'Well I like a chutney I must say but... am going off it rapidly" !! HA HA

Beckamaw · 20/08/2012 19:48

There once was a tosspot called chunt,
Who had unbelievable front,
He grabbed chutney and a bucket
But Lou just said 'Fuck it -
Life's better without you - you cunt!'

ScarletWomanoftheVillage · 20/08/2012 19:48

It was the way he emphasised the 'I'

Well I like a Chutney

Can't stop laughing at that..

Iteotwawki · 20/08/2012 19:49

Another delurker - have read all 3 threads but really had nothing to contribute except - you go, girl! I'm sure he is scared and out of control - shaking so hard his jars rattle. He deserves it.

Also had to say I

ScarletWomanoftheVillage · 20/08/2012 19:53

Maybe I'm being pedantic Iteo, but think the correct version would have been 'should have', not 'should of'.

And should've would seem to be an abbreviation of should have

Just sayin'...

medievaljacqui · 20/08/2012 19:53

Hi Lou
De-lurking to say I think you are amazing!
I have followed your thread from the, but did not feel I had anything to add to all the amazing advice you have been been given, so am just adding my support.
Hope all goes well with scan tomorrow. It might be worth turning up earlier and warning the staff that if chuntney twunt turns up you don't want him there, they can handle that.

storytopper · 20/08/2012 19:56

Scared and out of control. Yep!

I can just imagine the scene at The Lovenest as OW's pregnancy progresses. She may be tired and tetchy and their sex life may have dwindled to nothing.

And as he managed to up-duff her before he really got to know her, he may have discovered they have very little in common. He is sitting there with your plundered box sets desperate to play them and she is turning up her nose. He is picking dog hairs off his clothes from OW's giant mutt which has sussed him as a defective human and growls at his every move. And he is wearing adult Pampers as he is frequently shitting himself in anticipation of her finding out that you are also (more recently) pregnant. Karma's Army is marching in rapidly.

Rindercella · 20/08/2012 19:57

I get you Iteo Smile

Lou, am loving your style, composure and humour through all this. I know you probably don't feel particularly strong, but you are. Very.

NotGeoffVader · 20/08/2012 19:58

Glad you're able to see the twisted humour in all this Lou, and that you are seeing right through the chutney-wranglers BS.

Hope Babylon and MrBabylon are able to provide you with some confirmation of the chutney-smuggler's wheareabouts one way or another. Such a pity he is feeling trapped and scared eh?

Love the idea of a chutney and bucket party - I might have some spare teaspoons if you want some :)

I must confess I do like pickles and chutneys but not to the point of obsession. Although I am working my way through a jar of pickled garlic.

From the Coop I can recommend the roasted onion pasta sauce, and their own brand garlic bread. Just chuck in some spinach-filled pasta for an easy and filling snack.

My latest 'delicacy' is brioche, spread with peanut butter and cream cheese, topped with strawberry jam.

To all who have written haiku and limericks - loving them. Perhaps we can get an anthology of verse together?
