Back again, is this a record? How many threads can this bastard have? You are all keeping me going this afternoon - you and friends on email and friends on text. It's keeping me angry which is good.

OP posts:
cakeismysaviour · 16/08/2012 21:45

Yes, you have posted that view. Many times.

Lou would have understood it just fine a long time ago.

This thread is about supporting Lou, not about you.

Portofino · 16/08/2012 21:46

I am happy to report my own post.

Portofino · 16/08/2012 21:53

I don't give a toss about me. I give a toss about 3rd parties being drawn into this to "stalk" a person who has done nothing illegal at any point, as I worry about them. Lou should NOT be asking this of anyone, given was she has said on MN about the ex.

LouP19 · 16/08/2012 21:53

Wow, just logging in before bed. Looks like something has kicked off,.... Sad.

I went to the pub after work with a couple of colleagues for some tea. Then came back and my Dad has put a bigger/better lock on the side gate. We have made a list of what we want to discuss with the solicitor's tomorrow, but one of them will be a polite request for him to notify me when/if he needs to access the property. I realise this is all we can probably do legally, but it's a start,....

I am still so fucking angry. Everyone is telling me how amazing I'm coping, but right now I hate him so much I can't see a period where I will ever grieve for him.

Tonight I've been round the house to see what he's taken. You are NOT going to believe this (but then again). He has emptied half the freezer. He has taken all the meat products (I'm veggie). He has taken the cool bag and filled it up with everything he saw as 'his'. Just fucking retarded. Only the other day I said to my Mum that she must take all the meat products out the freezer, and she was intending to do it. But he came back and took them. She DID take all his cheese (and at this point you're all going to be laughing or people might say I'm a troll - I'm not!!). Along with his chutney collection of course goes good cheese. So on Saturday my Mum took over £15 worth of cheese out of the fridge to her house. So he didn't get his cheese!! Ha ha! He has, however, taken more items of kitchenware, things he has bought over the years. It makes a mockery of any life I felt I shared with him.

I'm ready for all the comments of 'This isn't real'. I can only tell you it IS real. Another sign of a man breaking up. If it wasn't happening to me it'd be comical.

Solicitor's tomorrow, ready for it.

It's about Lou, not anyone else. Please drop the egos. She's had great advice & support, please, please don't ruin it.

Thinking of you Lou

NotGeoffVader · 16/08/2012 21:54

Lou as you can see there is tons of advice - or rather, there are tons of suggestions here.

As long as you are okay, that is the main thing.

Referring to some points upthread, I realise that the police may not be able to do much but the fact that you could raise your concerns (Chutney picking lock and coming into the house whilst you were out) to them may add weight to your case as they would presumably have to make a record of what you say.

Keep angry, keep strong. Keep safe.

Portofino · 16/08/2012 21:54

She has plenty of friends and family. Let one of them do it.

LurkingAndLearningLovesCats · 16/08/2012 21:55

Is this freak planning some sort of elaborate feat with all the other MN bastards??! WTAF?

LurkingAndLearningLovesCats · 16/08/2012 21:55

*feast

grumpykat · 16/08/2012 21:56

In the words of Alan Partridge..."Smell my cheese, you knobber!".
What a cunt.

As I said before your last trip to the solicitors, 'stay angry, stay strong', but this time with an icy edge of rage, he is seriously unhinged and you have to make him pay for this.
Go girl.

KatieScarlett2833 · 16/08/2012 21:56

Oh Lou, he is a freak. He took the meat from the freezer?

I'm glad about the cheese, he must have been scunnered.

Poor man, what will he do? Will no-one think of the chutney?

cakeismysaviour · 16/08/2012 21:58

Still can't resist posting the same argument again, Portofino. Hmm

Nicolasix · 16/08/2012 21:58

Lou, sorry x-posted.

He is...I haven't got words. We know this is real, he's despicable.

Other more wise (& funny) people will post soon but Lou I'm so sorry you have to go through this. He's disgusting & you are incredibly strong.

cakeismysaviour · 16/08/2012 22:01

Back on topic, I am glad your collegues are rallying around. :)

This man really does take the biscuit, doesn't he?!

You are going to be very, very well rid of him.

LouP19 · 16/08/2012 22:02

The cheese not being there,... that will have really hurt him. I mean that. Smile.

Signing off because I'm knackered after another ridiculously stupid day.

cakeismysaviour · 16/08/2012 22:03

I wonder what the OW said when she saw him bring his frozen meat in?

Very odd!

Portofino · 16/08/2012 22:03

Cake, I would happily repeat myself all night if I stopped one well meaning MNetter putting herself in a dodgy situtation. If you think badly of me for that, well so be it.

lasnosage · 16/08/2012 22:03

Well, at least you know what he was doing with his time in the house. Emptying the freezer! I'm horrified but I almost want to laugh - how petty is this guy??? Maybe he's running short on dosh and OW asked him to get some shopping......? Or he really thinks what he's doing is reasonable... ??? In a way Lou he's done you a favour. You deserve a decent bloke. X

LouP19 · 16/08/2012 22:05

Yeah, and the freezer has needed defrosting for ages, so now I can do it. Wink

It all hints at a man slightly losing it,........ Everything he does in a weird way makes me feel stronger.

KatieScarlett2833 · 16/08/2012 22:06

Good, Lou, night night x

At least as you're a veggie, the loss of the meat won't be a problem. You can fill it back up with profriteroles, gnocci and quorn burgers!

Glad you had a good evening, Lou. I hope the session tomorrow is productive.

All power to your mum for snaffling his cheese :)

Lou - what a knob, no surprise there...,

He can't just come and go as he pleases. You could come home one day and find everything gone....

I'm glad you are getting legal advice, my solicitor said that poses session was 9/10 of the law so the contents of the house were mine seeing as twunt walked out !!

You are understandably mad. Try and relax a bit if you can and update us when you have seen the sols.

cakeismysaviour · 16/08/2012 22:09

Lou - I think he sounds really unhappy.

He has made his bed.......
