The Brave Babes Battle Bus - Giving Up Booze For Lent.

Mouseface · 25/03/2011 21:01

Hello.

I'm Mouse. Smile

We are a Bus load of posters with various relationships with the demon booze. Some are sober, some are not and some are inbetween.

So come say hi and meet the rest of The Babes, there's always plenty of room on the Bus, the doors are ALWAYS open.

No judgy pants are worn on this journey, pants yes and even the odd Tena Lady but always of the non judging variety. Grin

I'm in my pjs, (I'll call my daughter T), she is in the shower so any danger of popping to the shop has passed.
I am going to lounge around watching cookery shows on i-player! I will check in later this evening or if I have a wobble.
Have fun everyone.
Day 1 in the bag Grin

Rubyredlips · 06/04/2011 20:40

Grin Ma. I meant because you'd had a challenging evening.
Good on you Rose for leaving. That sounds like a very cheap pub - 2 desserts and a corona for under a fiver (totally irrelevant thoughts from me Blush )

dementedma · 06/04/2011 20:41

yay, the party mouse is here.
Thornrose, bloody well done on seeing a dangerous situation and legging it!

Tristmum · 06/04/2011 20:42

Actually, while I'm waiting for my manicure, can I have a little back pat please?

I have really, really, really wanted a drink tonight and I am slightly astonished that I haven't given in. Thank you for the hand-holding earlier.

munkymaz · 06/04/2011 20:42

Woo hoo Rose, master chef is on in 10 so that'll be me out for a bit.........drinking cooking don't get harder than this:o).

See you in a bit

thornrose · 06/04/2011 20:43

Ha ha, the desserts were only £1.20 each as part of children's menu so I had to make up £2.60. I amost asked the barman what I could get for £2.60 Blush I've lost track of pub prices as I drink at home!

Tristmum · 06/04/2011 20:44

ma - the peanut caught me between the shoulder blades, so back duly patted Grin

munkymaz · 06/04/2011 20:44

Pssst.......ther's plenty of lovely fruit juices in the fridge......

thornrose · 06/04/2011 20:45

trist I read that as "little black hat" and that's without a drink!!

dementedma · 06/04/2011 20:48

Yo munky! How's it going?

munkymaz · 06/04/2011 20:55

Hey ma not too bad, redundancies announced at our place, 1 from my team and 2 from dept management! I'm immune apparently, but feel so sorry for my guys as they're all new and will get fuck all if the take voluntary ( unlike me who's been there 20 years!).

Good excuse for a blow out but I've resisted (cue more muttering in the co-op).

How are you ?

mouseface · 06/04/2011 20:57

See I thought 'can I have a little pat back please?' Like, what's up with a big pat? I know a big pat, he's a builder Grin
