At first I was afraid, I was petrified
Kept thinkin' I could never live without him by my side;
But then I spent so many nights
Thinkin' how you did me wrong
And I grew strong Smile

This thread is for ex dumplings Any dumpling that feels like she has "mostly" moved past crisis into an "almost" sorted state can post and chat here as we continue our quest for serenity with a lot of laughs along the way and support.

love the idea of not valentines messages.
Here goes.
You were my husband
but now you're my ex
rubbish at loving
selfish at sex
hopeless at cooking
crap with a car
wherever you are today,
it can't be too far.
Not happy with final couplet but off to bed!!

googoomama · 13/02/2011 22:19

I read that too! Had to stop myself from writing something a bit nasty Angry
I must admit to writing on a thread in AIBU where a woman was moaning that her DH bought her flowers for VD and gave them to her after they had been shopping in the house doorway. Just said it was a luxury problem when you're a single mum and people who's husbands have left em don't get flowers and to try and put things into perspective. Then I felt a bit rude! First time I've done that.
Ooh Getting - I can feel a new vocation as an anti-valentine card writer:

Thanks for spending our money on gear
Thanks for leaving the kids and me here
And now that it's Valentine's day
I really would just like to say
I feel much better now
Your new woman's a cow
And you were crap in bed anyway x

startingovernow · 13/02/2011 22:21

Evening all.

Sov & Patience, sorry to hear your respective twats were no shows today Angry

Off, oh joy of joy spending valentine's day with xh! If it's any consolation so am I. Two of my dc's have a school play tomorrow night so will be sitting side by side with xh low & behold.

Actually have an even better one for ye all. I bet I am the only dumpling that can say she got a gorgeous bunch of tulips for valentine's day which xh paid for Grin. When dc's were with xh today he called into a friend of his that has a flower shop & ds asked xh to get flowers for me Grin. When ds was telling me about this xh was actually in the car as I was dropping him off somewhere & I was saying to ds how kind & sweet it was of him to get me flowers etc & he said "they're for valentine's day tomorrow" Grin.

DS, hope your feeling a bit better ((Hugs))

Getting, glad dd had a nice time

Kate, a big happy birthday to you. Agree dating after divorce is certainly not for the fainthearted !!

Goo, sorry you've been triggered again by exbf on facebook ((Hugs))

Waves to Pink, Rom, Mumfun & Happy

Well feel in pits of despair over Norm tonight. I can't believe he never responded to my email or contacted me again. I was so sure he would contact me begging forgiveness & for another chance & telling me how much he loved me Sad Sad. Never realised how much I'd fallen for him Sad

googoomama · 13/02/2011 22:21

Your cock is so small
It just has to be said
But you've got a great big one
On top of your head

googoomama · 13/02/2011 22:22

Oh Starting - big hugs love. I really really feel for you x

startingovernow · 13/02/2011 22:25

googoomama · 13/02/2011 22:26

I gave you my heart
And you took it away
Can I have it back please
I'd rather be gay

startingovernow · 13/02/2011 22:27

Patience slap on wrist for lowering the tone of thread Grin

googoomama · 13/02/2011 22:27

lol Patience lol!!!

googoomama · 13/02/2011 22:30

Your bedroom always smelt of febreze
And your cock always tasted of cheese
Your nails were too long
And I hated that thong
It made you look a bit like John Cleese

Sorry that's really lowered it Grin

Patienceobtainsallthings · 13/02/2011 22:33

Hugs to starting ,wish we could all meet up in the spring ,maybe London again x

googoomama · 13/02/2011 22:35

startingovernow · 13/02/2011 22:40

Patience, I will be finished college in early May & hope to make it over after that. Xh has offered to take dc's overnight & if things continue to go ok I think I'll allow the overnights so that would be childcare sorted Smile

My first T shirt will read:

Patienceobtainsallthings · 13/02/2011 23:17

Dont be sad ,it is a gift ,letting go of old patterns ,some people never get the chance,no its onwards and upwards for me .he was just lucky to bump into such a quality co dependent,as co dependants go I was a bit of a purist.I could have won awards.
