Hello to all and a Medal for those of you that stayed over all 16 pages of the 'It's all about him' thread.

Since it has gotten so big and since I will most likely going to be droning on about this for a little while I thought it would be easier to just start a new thread.

Must say I prefer the new title

For those that didn't read the mammoth previous thread, in a nutshell it's about me dithering to leave partner of 8 years. No sex life for a year, he's very self centred and unmotivated etc, no future to speak of, fed up.

Finally told him I want to split up last night so am now using MN as my lifeline to ensure I really do get out of this excuse for a relationship.

Thank you all again for letting me do this and your support :)

Juno is my fave. The soundtrack is sublime. I went to see Belle and sebastian last week. They were AMAZING.

Had chilli and copious amounts of wine night at a friends tonight.

Was really good especially after epic shit day at work.

Should be in bed but waiting for cats and watching peep show.

That sounds fab. If I'd been sober I would have remembered that Thursday was famous chilli night. I love the thanking the taxi driver for a great night.

Well my barking MIL has anounced that she will not be coming 15 miles on non-snowy roads to be with us tomorrow. I think she decided this last week when it actually DID snow and sees no reason to change her mind.

oh well. disappointing for DSs. Annoying for DH. Mixed blessing. She doesn't really "get" Christmas.

We are all ill/getting over being ill/suspecting we are going down with something so I think it will be a fairly subdued affair tomorrow. Should be able to check in to make sure Bibi isn't being mistaken for Whiskas.

Erm - what should I do if it appears she IS though?

Can't believe it's so late - been pottering around cleaning the house so it's all cozy for the next few days, had dinner and a bath and now snuggled up under my hello kitty blanket watching Christmas tv.

Sound like I'm 5 years old don't I :)
