Hello to all and a Medal for those of you that stayed over all 16 pages of the 'It's all about him' thread.

Since it has gotten so big and since I will most likely going to be droning on about this for a little while I thought it would be easier to just start a new thread.

Must say I prefer the new title Xmas Grin

For those that didn't read the mammoth previous thread, in a nutshell it's about me dithering to leave partner of 8 years. No sex life for a year, he's very self centred and unmotivated etc, no future to speak of, fed up.

Finally told him I want to split up last night so am now using MN as my lifeline to ensure I really do get out of this excuse for a relationship.

Thank you all again for letting me do this and your support :)

There are now two Swedish Wallanders it transpires. One is good and the right one. The one that is on now is the wrong one and I don't know who anyone is.

I vote for go to beach and do moody walking and make resolutions. Local animal attraction will be full of over-excited toddlers.

AnyFuckerisFucked · 26/12/2010 22:27

yes, both

BibiBlocksberg · 26/12/2010 22:29

Moody walking, how funny! Would be cheaper but the animal attraction would really cheer me up......even with the all the toddlers.

if you hear screaming it's because the situation is even worse than I feared......

Hello Bibi! My computer celebrated Christmas by COMPLETELY freaking out so have just caught up.

Rolling about laughing at the toffee f-ing penny. I like the toffee penny Xmas Grin Just keep the coffee creams away from me devil's work

Am now curious about the animal attraction. Is it full of cute baby reindeer? Or non-christmassy animals only?

Glad to see the others have been in to keep you cheery, and that supernoodles are the plat du jour as usual. All is right with the world.

Go to the beach tomorrow and spend £15 on a mountain of marshmallows & booze to put in your hot chocolate afterwards.

BibiBlocksberg · 27/12/2010 00:24

Wondered what had happened to you ElfPants. Thought you might be enjoying that RL I've heard so much about :)

Non christmassy animals only though I like your marshmallows and booze idea a lot now.

Will mull it over as I sleep - off to bed now so catch up tomorrow, goodnight all.

DO you feeel like you have started youe lovely new free life yet?

BibiBlocksberg · 27/12/2010 21:23

In fits and starts ReallFab, I'll be happy to be free for a few hours and then find myself crying over the fact he's gone and then happy again.

Bit of a seesaw at the minute....

OP posts:
bloomingnora · 27/12/2010 21:32

You need some endorphins to perk you up (although I think a day doing bugger all sounds fantastic).

You'll find that the happy bits will get more frequent and the crying less so.

I prescribe the following:

Book at least one event to look forward to in your diary for January.

A brisk walk/exercise of some kind for those endorphins.

Buy yourself a good book to ward off any lonely moments. Some good bargains on Amazon.

Keep posting. We'll still be here.

Thanks Nora, trying hard not to be a whinge bag but difficult sometimes.

Was quite chirpy this morning and then actually got angry which I thought was good.

Angry at the shitty crappy way he thought he could treat me, well, probably forever.

Unbelievably peed off that he's just buggered off without so much as a another word. Grrrrrr!!

Thanks for ideas - am looking into booking a daytrip to London as soon as.

Day trip to London sounds like a great idea.

You are allowed to be a whinge bag. It is ALL ABOUT YOU!

I do think his lack of contact is bizarre. What a toss pot.

I'm off to bed now but will be back to check on you tomorrow.

BibiBlocksberg · 27/12/2010 21:59

Thank you :) - have a good night, update you on my ever so exciting life tomorrow :)

How are you this morning BiBi?Smile.

BibiBlocksberg · 28/12/2010 13:57

Only just seen this ReallyFab, thanks for asking.

Started pretty meh but am now packing his nick nacks etc that are still kicking around MY precious space into a box and generally thinking 'sod you, idiot'

As I said, it's a see-saw atm :)

Hope you and my other supporters are ok today!?

bloomingnora · 28/12/2010 14:40

That sounds like a good, positive thing to be doing. Well done!

BibiBlocksberg · 28/12/2010 15:17

Thanks nora, there is a big part of me that really doesn't want to be wasting any more emotion and headspace on someone who evidently hasn't given a shit for years.

Just need to keep that attitude on top of the 'buhuu, poor old me' ones Grin

BibiBlocksberg · 28/12/2010 23:29

....was just re-reading the 'its all about him' thread and discovered it's two weeks to the day that he left.

Am genuinly shocked at that discovery, was convinced it was just over one week Shock

Just wanted to document that for posterity (and award myself a medal for bravery) Grin

God, time really does fly!!
