Am on here using delaying tactics as have no motivation to go out & cut grass! Should have done it last wk & didn't have motivation then either & it's now desperately in need of cutting. Am exhausted from wk of school runs Hmm. Also woke at 4am with the wierdest bloody nightmare! Have to say however that for past while it's like I have a new found freedom & finally feel over the trauma of x. All the mums at school have been raving about how fab I'm looking now & those that are closer have said that I look happy again Smile.

Happy well done on dishwasher success Smile. Ignoring twunts usually a good idea!

Mumfun, have a great w'end.

Patience, will be dying to hear how you get on Grin

Chairmum & Sov, well done on your boundary work Smile

Getting hope dd had a lovely day & well done for gym etc

Tea, hope there's some good new Smile

I put an update on the prayer thread I'm on yesterday but waiting to hear how he is today. Everyday he seems to get a little better, although they're still saying 6 weeks until he can come home Sad

Patienceobtainsallthings · 03/09/2010 17:25

Thinking of you Tea x

IfYoureHappyAndYouKnowIt · 03/09/2010 17:31

Phew, name changed, I am Happy once more.

Well all is ok here. I will be visting counsellor soon - have decided that today's topic will be how to remain strong enough to get through life's daily challenges with a smile on my face. Am doing this quite often generally but if too much DC/XH trouble then downward spiral occurs.

Enjoy the weekend Mumfun - I am jealous and want some off too - have decided to encourage DCs to bring many friends here always to create party house. I can always bring the music although of course they don't know me as DJHappy so that won't work (and they think I am an old fogey)

Starting, glad to hear you are feeling so good. I think that the lack of XH in your life and the appearance of Mr Normal mus be causing that.

Tea - fingers crossed for DN

Getting, glad first day went well - my DS has come hime with fine exam results so he had a good day too (I bought a cake to celebrate!)

Patience, looking forward to seeing you at the meet up. Getting, hoping you can provide music to suit the girls - now you know what we like!

Sov/Chair, hope you're doing ok, nice to see you at the disco.

Waves to all x

Patienceobtainsallthings · 03/09/2010 17:40

teaandcakeplease · 03/09/2010 17:59

Just been through itunes on home pc and deleted all albums of H's. Quite cathartic. Even ones I did like but remind me of him have been deleted. Feels good.

Patienceobtainsallthings · 03/09/2010 18:02

Mega Tea !
Please find out Happy.... do they take mastercard?

startingovernow · 03/09/2010 18:04

Tea, found your up-date, that sounds great will continue to pray for you all.

Happy, well done to your ds, great achievement after such a difficult yr for him with xh & ow etc. Counselling always great for learning to remain serene in the face of difficulties Smile. Agree your ds's would prob not be impressed with your dj happy skills, nothing personal, my eldest dd already thinks I'm a has been too Grin.

The reason I'm feeling good is nothing to do with Mr Norm (although I did enjoy it). It's because I have finally full acceptance that xh is what he is & that I'm so lucky to be away from him & most importantly I no longer love him. Despite everything it took me a long time to stop loving xh or missing what I thought we used to have. Reality has finally been accepted & life is not too bad really Smile. I think it prob also helps that xh is not having access & so I'm not being pulled into constant drama or trauma.

I'm exactly the same Patience Blush Need to clear up this pit after baking cakes for SIL and casseroles for them, toys strewn everywhere, bath toys need putting away, washing up needs doing desperately and dining table wiping. I'm sitting here at PC though listening to music. I think I prefer what you're doing though, much more fun Smile

Dumplings there is a f*g HUGE spider just after running accross my sitting room & going underneath telly. I can't see it but loads of wires & speaker box & telly v big so can't really move it. Could move couch & try to access with hoover by side of telly but will need to move big speaker box & would f*g collapse if it runs out towards me. I'm not being dramatic, it was HUGE & I can actually hear rustling sounds which has to be spider. Dd nearly screamed house down & has gone to bed as refuses to stay downstairs till it's found. Patience, any ideas??? Anybody????????

OP posts:
startingovernow · 03/09/2010 21:59

Patienceobtainsallthings · 03/09/2010 22:01

Just face the situation head on, get under the telly catch it in a bucket and put it outside,we get ones like that in the wood pile ......

Patienceobtainsallthings · 03/09/2010 22:08

Nice one Startin' ...now concentrate on the spider its just Incy Wincy and he is more frightened than you ,catch it in anything a bag ,then you can hold it shut you will prob drop a bucket when he starts escapin , they are fast wee feckers
