I figure that the reason I haven't been able to post all day, is because we've run out of thread - again!! Hope you all find this, my fellow Teabags. Are contenders for the longest-running MN thread?

Oh, oh, sorry about this, but I just got offered a job this morning and they want me to start tomorrow ... it's afternoon-evening hours and there's no way I'd get up to town in time for dinner. I did try to wriggle/negotiate, but let's face it, one has to get what's on offer these days and I can't exactly see the Jobcentre being impressed that I turned down an offer of employment so I could have a pizza with my mates.

Don't go overboard with the congratulations, it's only temporary and the wages are unimpressive!

Look on the bright side: you won't need such a big table.

Oh that's a shame annie but good news about the job. Hopefully it will lead to bigger and better things ONE DAY I'll get to meet you.

I got the 11.30 train home and got home about 12.45. The next morning my neighbour told me that XP had been hammering on my door at about 12.30, so I'm actually glad I got that late train after all.
I phoned to ask what he was playing at and he said he thought me and NM were in there and he wanted to see if he was "man enough" to come out and fight him!!!

I told him I will phone the police if it doesn't stop. Thing is he hasn't actually physically done anything. He's just drunk and stupid so I doubt they would do.much tbh.

You could still take out an injunction (for harassment) - then of course there's breach of the peace! Mind you, I bet it keeps curtain twitchers happy

My ex has agreed to have the boys every other weekend so I am CHILD FREE this weekend, which is much needed after this week. DS2 has been up two or three times every night with nightmares, its so draining.
Other ex (psycho) has gone very quiet - hope it lasts!
